உறுதியானது! த்ரிஷ்யம் ரீமேக்கில் கமல்

கடந்த சில நாட்களாக கோலிவுட்டின் ஹாட் நியூசாகப் பேசப்பட்டு வந்தது கமல்ஹாசன் த்ரிஷ்யம் ரீமேக்கில் நடிக்கவுள்ளார் என்ற வதந்தி. தற்போது அது உறுதியாகியுள்ளதாகக் கூறப்படுகிறது.

2013-ஆம் ஆண்டு இறுதியில் மலையாளத்தில் வெளியாகி பெரிய வெற்றிபெற்றிருக்கும் நடிகர் மோகன்லாலின் திரைப்படம் ‘த்ரிஷ்யம்’. இது ஒரு டிராமா திரில்லர் வகைப் படமாகும். இந்தப் படத்தை ஜீத்து ஜோசப் எழுதி இயக்கினார். மோகன்லால் ஜோடியாக நடிகை மீனா நடித்திருந்தார்.

இதன் தமிழ் ரீமேக்கில் நடிப்பதற்கு கடும் போட்டி நிலவி வந்தது. ஆனால் முதலில் கமல் ஹாசன்தான் இப்படத்தில் நடிப்பார் என்று கிசுகிசுக்கப்பட்டது. அதைதொடர்ந்து விக்ரம் தானாகவே முன்வந்து படத்தில் நடிக்க விருப்பம் தெரிவித்திருந்தார். நடிகர் விஜய்யும் இந்தப் படத்தின் தமிழ் ரீமேக்கில் நடிக்க முயற்சி செய்தார் என்று சொல்லப்படுகிறது.

இந்நிலையில், சமீபத்திய செய்தி என்னவென்றால் நடிகர் கமல் நடிப்பில் இந்தப் படம் தமிழில் வெளியாகும் என்பதுதான். கமலோ வரிசையாகப் படங்களைக் கையில் வைத்துள்ளார். ‘விஸ்வரூபம் 2′ விரைவில் ரிலீஸ் ஆகிறது. இந்தப் படம் முடிந்ததும் நடிகர் ரமேஷ் அரவிந்த் இயக்கத்தில் ‘உத்தம வில்லன்’ படத்தில் நடிக்க உள்ளார்.

இந்நிலையில், கமல் இந்தப் படத்தில் நடிக்க ஒப்புக்கொண்டுள்ளதாகத் தெரிகிறது. கமல் நடிப்பில் ஒரு குறுகிய காலத் தயாரிப்பாக ‘த்ரிஷ்யம்’ தமிழ் ரீமேக் படத்தை சுரேஷ் பாலாஜி தயாரிப்பார் என்றும் சொல்கிறார்கள். மலையாளத்தில் இப்படத்தை இயக்கிய ஜீத்து ஜோஷப்பே தமிழிலும் இயக்குவார் என்றும் கூறப்படுகிறது.

Kamal Haasan to do Drishyam`s Tamil version

Director Jeethu Joseph will direct the Tamil version of Drishyam, produced under the banner of Suresh Balaji and George Pious`s Wide Angle Creations, with Kamal Haasan playing the lead. The shooting of the film has been scheduled to start during June this year.

Jeethu Joseph said: "We just signed the film and I am back in Kochi after meeting Kamal Haasan. The shoot will start in the second half of the year and the rest of the cast and other details are being worked out."

Drishyam has been a phenomenal success and is regarded as the highest grosser in Malayalam ever. The Telugu version of the film is being made with Venkatesh in the lead.

Jeethu had the option of directing the Tamil and Hindi versions. The talks on the Hindi remake are on and sources inform that there have been some discussions already with a few prominent Bollywood stars.

அன்பரின் ஜீனோவிற்கான பதிலா? ஆமாம் என்றால் அன்பரின் பதில் கமலைப் போலவே குழப்பமாகவே இருக்கு. நான் இந்த விஷயத்தில் ஜீனோ பக்கம். சமரசமே வாழ்க்கையாகிவிடாது. தனது படைப்பாக்கங்களில் கமல் பொதித்து வைத்திருக்கும் விழுமியங்களின் மீதான நம்பிக்கைகளின் எதிர்பார்ப்பே ஜீனோ போன்றவர்களின் கோபம். அது மிகவும் சரியானது. இந்திய நாட்டின் சமரசமே இலங்கையின் நடந்த மாபெரும் மனிதப் / இனப் படுகொலை விஷயத்தில் காட்டிய பாரபட்சம். அதை கலைத்துறையின் வழியாக எதிர்ப்பைக் காட்டக் கூடிய, இந்திய அளவில் பிரபலமான ஒரே தமிழுணர்வு நடிகர் கமலே. ஈழ இனப்படுகொலை பற்றிய செய்தியையே எதோ ஒரு நாளில் எதோ ஒரு கொசு கடித்து விட்டு சென்றதைப் போல எடுத்துக் கொள்ளும் நம் நாட்டின் பிற மாநில மக்கள்/ அமைப்புக்கள் இருக்கையில் இந்திய தேசியம் என்பதற்கு பொருள் என்ன ?

Remaking a quality movie like Drishyam for the tamil audience is not necessarily a bad thing. Kamal has a penchant to remake movies that he finds impressive with good content. After all, the movie in question is not some hit masala flick and ML is not some run-of-the-mill actor. I believe it has a high emotional content and thats right up Kamal's way.

^ Have to second your thought. I kind off miss Kamal, the actor. Its time for him to come out of his high horse a little bit and start acting under different directors. ( not the usual suspects like Ramesh Arvind and KSR ). Not necessarily a remake, but an entirely new project. Anyways I hope this is a step in that direction.

I particularly found a comment that I can relate to and found interesting .. For those unfamiliar with Lal or haven't seen his movies, the guy can quite easily blend into a common man's role at ease.

"I am a devoted Kamal fan and also equally a Lalettan fan. Georgekutty character is like second nature to Lalettan, he can effortlessly transform himself as a common-man-without-face-or-identity. But Kamal has to try hard to hide the actor Kamal and unfold Georgekutty on screen. Kamal often takes aid of makeups to achieve this; will be interesting to watch what he does here.

I also think, the nativity and locale of the original is hard to match in Tamil. More than Kamal accepting this project, I am glad Jeethu is directing the Tamil version also. Any other director would be an insult to Tamil audience.. Remember Tamil version of Sibimalayil classic Baratham, Lal Jose’s Classmates or Fasil’s Manichitra Thazhu?

Eagerly awaiting the Tamil version, particularly the scene where Mohanlal comes running to avoid police inquiring his daughter. The emotions he showed while running and subtle panting, controlling his breath …awesome.

Some of Kamal’s versatility can’t be easily matched by any other actor, but clearly Lalettan is on his own turf here."
