As far as I know Aval Appadithan was released in 1978 and music is by IR. It has even got a song Adi Aatha sung by IR himself. Please correct me if I am wrong. How are you saying it is by V.Kumar?

i stand corrected now .u r right .it was composed by none other than IR only.got confused with v.kumar the same period he too did couple of films for KB .his style also resemble IR .for a long time i somehow imagined that "aval.. was not done by IR.now its clear.thanks man

one child sung this famous old song " manam padaithen unnai....."

Such an mind blowing song.....

from which film??? Who is the MD?? i guess MD is KVM....

Kandhan Karunai. MD is indeed KVM. The song is in youtube.

Hi all

I am looking for a particular song. I do not remember the film, singer or even the starting words. But somewhere in the middle of the song, it goes like this -

Kaadal endra puthakathil, mutham endra pakkam edu, kanna.....

Any ideas?

seems like the song is from "idhaya thaamarai" by SG.
the song is kanna kathavu thiranthidu manna... in between it comes as kaadhal endra puthagathil muththam endra pakkam edu

I checked for this song, and nowhere does it appear as a song in Idhaya thamarai. Maybe, it is in some other movie. Can you just check and let me know? Sorry for the trouble.
