sorgamE endraalum adhu namooru pOla varuma?

adhaanE oor ulagam ellam suthinaalum namma TirunelvEli pOla varuma?

We spent most of our vacation as kids in either Bombay or Tirunelveli. Oorukku pOita summa irukka mudiyaathu, engayavathu veLiya kiLambiduvOm... Kanyakumari, Tiruchendur, Manimuttar, Paapanasam, Kutralam, Agasthiyar falls, Thoothukudi etc. It is full of beautiful temples as well.

ThamiraparaNi athula kuLichu evvaLavu naal aachu?

Oh.... the lovely food enga ooru alva pola varuma?

Now the river seems to be polluted

Tirunelveli is well connected by trains and buses from Madras. I heard the Vagaikulam airport is operational, but not sure how many flights a day and from where! The nearest airport would be Madurai or Trivandrum.

I shoud agree that I didn't notice any 2/4 wheelers in Venice...
    reason?

    1. Venice has more waterways than roadways!
    2. Venice has much more things of interest to see than 2/4 wheelers
    3. I was on my second honeymoon

mani.. it is believed that sati's legs fell in that place and whatever you pray there will be fulfilled. Kali is in both the awesome ( ukkara swaroopam) and sublime ( saantha swaroopam) forms here. Navrathri celebrations are famous here.
vendudhal niraiveriduchuna, one should offer some kudirai bommais, i suppose.
    i didnt visit the museum

Thanks Lamby - one of my favourite AB songs!

I can tell you for sure that Venice has more amazing things (than 4/2 wheelers - you can see them anywhere in the world!) like

    - Buildings which make you wonder how they were built in water!
    - The venetian blinds in every single building
    - The police flying past in their motor boats
    - The smell of Italian food
    - The masks - very colourful & beautiful!
    - The tourists everywhere

just to mention a few ...

Yup....even Turin should have them considering the FIAT factory is located there.

And of course even Vespa scooters originated from Italy, and the relatively warm (as opposed to most other European countries) climate means that many of them still survive.
