Rear Window (1954)
Its not that I hate old movies or I hate movies with enormous hype. But this is bullcrap. Just because its Hitchcock, it doesn't mean it is great. Or atleast let it be great for the others, definitely not for me. Ridiculously disappointing. And so many people were arguing with me that The Usual Suspects is an ordinary movie.

Of the ones I have seen it is certainly the most memorable Hitchcock film. i.e. beyind the sheer viewing pleasure, the only one that spurs you into introspection of why we like what we like in Hitchcock. And it is not comfortable at all.

kandippa Gran Tarino paarunga. i liked it very much. Unlike Million Dollar baby and Mystic River, this movie had lot of comic moments.

But recently, none of the old movies (pre 70s) seem to interest me except Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Watching vertigo now. The poster perhaps my most favorite poster in movie history. :P Hope Hitchcock impresses this kid this time.

Well said. BTW, I just wanted to know why it is Hitchcock's best movie. Thats all. I wouldn't acknowledge it I guess given I watched this:
Vertigo.
One word- This guy is something. I mean- Stunner! Completely profound in every sense of its making. But, yes it isn't perfect. I could spot a few mistakes here and there, still to confirm if they are real goofs. Awesome visuals and acoustics. And as again, the best part of the movie is the shades/ similarities in its characters. Hitchcock Sir, my bows. Definitely one of my ten most favorite films.
