Uma Ramanan is the singer. Beautiful song by the way.

Usha - You have posted a lot of my favorites:

Mangai Nee - I love IR's rendition in this song. He would have sung it with a very casual and unique feel, which makes it very special to me.

Vaanam Thodatha - I love the orchestration throughout this song and ofcourse Chitra's sweet rendition.

app - Very true on the feel evoked by Moodupani, Johnny, Nenjathai Killadhe songs. They will always transport you to some nice place, in my case it's Ooty

Back during college days, we where in Ooty on top of Dodabetta with a tape recorder listening to some of IR's best & haunting numbers. Ah... those days are not going to come back

    I particularly enjoy the lyrics..
MV as the singer gives it a rather unique quality too. Very nice.

Malare pesu mouna mozhi from geethanjali...

melodious beginning with flute and guitar. chitra 's sweet voice in contrast to IR's raw voice. Is it the bass guitar that is playing along with the veena in the first interlude ( some one clarify ) ?....its divine....
in the second interlude its the turn of violin of to join hands with veena to treat us.
A pakka romantic duet in all its glory .
