All Ragas of Rahman

V_S: kannum kannum has no anya swaras, so it can be argued sivaranjani. But ARR introduces another complication. Not clear where is the shatjam. If we take panjamam sruti, the scale becomes like Neelamani (without 'Ni', so just Neelama ). Both are very close ragas in feel too. Since this is just scale based song, I think it's not clear-cut to give one name. In other words, one can take whichever raga he/she thinks it is. It won't be incorrect. (Nanna kozhappitena? ARR panna mattum sariyaa..)

MSV & IR are both well known to do such ambiguous raga based songs. We just discussed a couple in IR thread ..
