Forming a TFM Orchestra in the USA as alternative to IR or TF groups performing abroad.

In the long run, can it be possible to mobilise the best talents among Indian students to form a TFM troupe? If this is possible, then we can have more frequent performances at various Indian associations as they can support these programmes and we don't have to think hard on how to popularise IR's songs especially. If this idea is debatable in this forum why not we ask for talents attending in this forum itself? These talented musicians/singers should be extremely good so they don't have to meet regularly to practice it is also opportunity to display our latent musical skills. After few years, we can get lot of supprt and invite TFM legends to be guests. I am thinking we wont have problems because Indian films in general don't have copyright issues.

Sriram,
Thank you very much. Can you or somebody add some more female solo/duets songs for the time periods mentioned. As I mentioned before, we have two male and two female singers and we are planning to have equal share in the medley.

rameshb,
nandri. The more I get, the more I want. I guess I am looking for the songs to be representative of their times. Chinna Chinna aasai is a good choice, as it represents a culture shift (to rehman and reggae). 'nalam nalamariya' will most likely figure in the main program as a complete duet, so I don't plan to include it in the medley.

Hi guys,
The multi-lingual light music program by PALLAVI for Sankara Eye Foundation evoked tremendous response as PALLAVI enthralled a full-house audience (about 950+) to a 3 hr music showdown in 4 different languages (tamil, hindi, telugu and kannada).
Thanks a ton to those who made it to the program and donated generously to help raise a decent amount of money for Sankara Eye Foundation.
Thanks once again for the support and cheering PALLAVI up throughout the show (and even after that).

Hi Venky!
This is just to give a suggestion before you choose songs for P Susheela to sing. She's my favourite too but age has not left anyone bare right? I would suggest you rather go for her low pitched super hit songs because she just can't meet your (hers as well) expectations if you give her songs like Nenjam Marappadhillai, or Malai POzhudhin or Unnai Kaanaadha Kannum or Naalai Indha VeLai for that matter.
Here are a few:
1. Athan En Athan
2. Malargal Nanandhana
3. Idhaya Veenai
4. Gangai Karai ThOttam
5. Unakku Mattum Unakku Mattum
etc.
