P.Susheela-Ilayaraja combination (revised)

One of the TFM pages, someone told “ PS sung 148 songs for IR. (proof.:raajangahm.com “). Someone replied “ no, so many songs are missing”. I just started collecting the songs. Very interesting part is “ some good numbers of IR is sung by PS in telugu
“ chinnathayaval thantha raasaave” – dalapathi ( SJ in tamil)
“valayosi kalakalakala ena kavithaigal - sathya (lata mangehkar in tamil)
“naanoru sindhu, kavadi sindhu” - sindhu bhairavi ( chitra in tamil)
“ore naal unai naan nilavil paarthathu”– ilami oonjaladugirathu ( VJ in tamil)
“kanna varuvaya mere ketkiral” -- manthil uruthi vendum (chitra in tamil)
“manjolai kili thano, maan thano” –kizhake poghum rayil
“ithayam poghuthe,enaye pirinthe” – puthiya vaarpugal (jency in tamil)

  thanks raj and kalai. Her sweet voice is just too much. In the days of MSV, KVM, GR.. the songs were totally singer-dominated (as opposed to the instrument/sound dominated songs that TFM has now evolved to - nothing wrong IMO). Hence, it is highly important for singers to be exceptional. If you consider that, you really begin to adore/worship PS, PBS and others and look at them in renewed respect.

  Un nenja thottu is from Rajathi raja casette and it is not in movie. Yele ilankiliye is from ninaivu chinnam. both are in list (46,186)

  has anyone heard the song "thathedutha muthu pillai yaaro.... aala marathadi thedi amarndhavar thano.." in "Rettai vaal kuruvi"? It was sung by Susheela along with chitra. The song was to be sung in film by Radhika and Archana. But unfortunately the song was not in picture.

  There is an error in the information provided by
  raaga.com. I.e the song "Vedham Anuvanuvuna" from the film Saagara Sangamam (music by Illayaraja). In fact, PS did not sing even 1 song in that film and this song was sung by Janaki & SPB which came out as "idhu mounamana neeram" in the Tamil version "Salangai oli" of "Sagara sangamam".

  “munthanai mudichu”(tamil) –-( tel. is by PS)
  “nandhini(tamil)—title song is by PS
  “sanga thamizh kaviye” (tamil)-- “manathil uruthi vendum) . telugu is by PS.
  I think some telugu fans of PS and IR can help!!??

  Some more from PS with IR combination
  
  "malargalil adum ilamai pudumaiy" in Telugu version of Kalyanaraman. It was sung by Sailaja in Tamil version
  
  "thamtanam thana thalam varum" in telugu version. Sung along with janaki. Orginal tamil version was by Jensi and B.Vasantha. Telugu version was with western band and so it was not appealing much.
