When's 12B releasing? Any official info?

The only info I gotto hear was that Harris was off to Manhattan, US for mixing the songs for 12B for 15 days, recently. The promos are also out on TV and do look interesting, but as always its way too early to say anything at this point.

After Majnu, I do look forward to 12B. Is it true that the audio is slated to be out on August 15th? One of the rumours I heard!

  Just listened to 12B. Got to say Sukwinder's singing made me puke. There must be a million people in TN who can sing better than that. I am really confused on why our young MDs go for such atrocious singing. Forget about saving Tamil, It clearly spoils their composition. Dont they see that ?? So why do they keep doing it ??   i think he knows only five or six tunes(like s.a.rajkumar he knows only 3 tunes)and he is giving the same beats agian and agian
  The songs are all boring.
  
  he used narumugayae,narumugaye(from iruvar) to compose muthakanave,mutharkanvae ...
  
  while hearing this songs i have the feeling that these songs are also copied or modified from other familer songs
  
  as soon as i get the information i will update

  I was just trying to be diplomatic thats all.
  Its not just enlish perusu or tamil mattam something like that. Every newcomer should be welcome.
  unlike HJ,YSR has not tried to copy ARR but rather establishing his own style.
  And he deserves equal praise and hype as HJ as recieved. The poor guy hasnt got such luck
  lets see how long hype can push HJ around

  well, hj was quite good in minnale.. the songs were hummable and the music did not try to overpower the lyrics. and vaseegara was out of the world.. but majnu was definitely a disappointment. and now 12B is worse! I dont think i can even think of listening to the songs again, that sukwinder singh shd be renamed sukwinder should not singh!!! what a pain? i thought he would be used only by worst music directors like deva, SAR but now HJ is also following them!!---too bad...

  harish raghavedras lovely voice has been wasted with just two lines in poovae vaai paesum

  I don't have any words to describe my frustration., Not even 10% of the words are pronounced properly, Is it a tamil song really ?
  
  Once Vairamuthu wrote (in his 'Intha kuLaththil kal eRinthavarkaL' Book) - Looks like KJY was singing 'veLLaip puRaa ondRu' song - there is a line 'ThaNNeeril moozhkaathu kaatRuLLa panthu' in that song, KJY was singing it like 'thaNNeeril Moo**l**gaathu' instead of 'Moozhgathu' - Vairamuthu corrected him once, twice, thrice ... more., At one time KJY Got frustrated and he asked VM, 'Naan saagiRa varaikkum thiruththuveerkaLaa ?'
  To which VM Replied, 'Thamizh saagaatha varaikkum thiruththuvaen'
  
  Ippadi Garvamaa sollik koNda vairamuthu ippothu engee ? Is he listening to the way his songs are sung by these singers from north or not ? (Leave the quality of VM's lyrics thesedays - thats a secondary issue)

  i agree with someone said earlier. YSR is trying to establish his own style. The latest film "Thulluvatho illamai" proves that. But Haris Jayaraj is a total disappointment. In Majnu all the songs resembles ARR's songs, especially "Gulmohar Malare" by hariharan is the ditto of the "Pachai Nirame" song in Alaipayuthey. And abt 12B i dont want to comment.   12B is decent avalavuthaan. its certainly better tham most sar deva songs. but 60 % vangiittu u cannot say "hey I am better than the guy who failed" .

  KAY KAY is definitely a fantastic addition to Tamil Songs Voices..I Don't know if he's a tamilian or Not ..but he doesn't KILL the songs with the pronounciations like "Suck" winder Singh does or even Udit does..

  HJ is not innovative or original - Agreed. He still gives pleasing music as seen in Minnale and Majnu. 12B is an average effort compared to that but I feel it may become a hit in the long run. I am not a great KR fan but still, he gave good music in DUM(3) - as good as Minnale. Why is he not getting chances? Can't figure out this one.

  12 B padu sumaar..the vocals are terrible..I thought HJ did a much better job in Majnu and Minnale :-(( too bad MDs these days arent able to sustain their performance level over even 3 films

  KK is Krishna Kumar Menon. A malayali from Delhi. Has released his own hindi pop album called 'Pal' which was released by Sony Music. Has been a very successful advt jingles singer partly cos he's at ease with many languages, particularly the the south indian ones!

  He also song the very famous 'tadap tadap' number from hum dil de chuke sanam! He has been recently the blue eyed singer of Anu Malik, with AM giving him a chance in almost every movie of his.
  
  KK should be a good addition to TFM! I think his first tamil song was for ARR in Minsara Kanavu. Or it was VIP's 'eechangaatula...' song! Dunno which one!
