  Just Heard all the songs from BABA. The Best I liked is Kichi kichi from Reena Bhardwaj.she has done an extremely good job.Enna Pronouciation pathy peaarangalo .. puriyavillai.enakku seriya daan irundudu.especially naan unbiassed views kagha ennoda nanbar( who is a tamil literature guy )vai kooda irundu kezhka sonnen. and awarkku kooda romba offensive agha irukkuramari onnum teriyalai.. I think The song is THE BEST SONG IN BABA.

  To all who posted abt. the pronounciation issue,
  
  The 'support' reena bharadwaj or whoever is getting is the one I was afraid of, we ourselves, becoming ready to lose our identity and settle for the second (or third) best !
  
  My only argument is ... When people like Sujatha, Chitra, Harini etc., are here with sweet voice and right pronounciation, Why bring somebody from north and see their mazalaith thamizh ?
  
  I am not against other language / region people entering TFM, it is always welcome, but they should do their homework before trying something on public ... Somebody talked about KJY's pronounciation - Yes, He did certain mistakes, But it was heavily criticised at that time which made him improve, isn't it ? thats what we are trying to do for sadhana and Udit now ! To put it harsh, Improve or get out ... tamil has a tradition and gowravam which you people can't take it for easy ! (Sorry .. I can't control myself when something bad is happening to any form of tamil !),
  
  IMO, among male singers, Udit NarayaNan, Sukwinder Singh, Yuvan Shankar Raja need lot of improvement to their tamil (They can learn from Harish Raghavendar ;-), Unni krishnan is okay, But can be better, and Among females, Sadhana, Sadhana and Sadhana (There are some more, But they don't sing quite often :-)

  Naga, well said. In Baba album three male singers who can pronounce tamiz very well are used.
  1. SPB
  2. Jayachandran and
  3. Karthik.
  
  Just compare their songs with other singers. Among these three except karthik, the other two are non-tamils. At least KJY was criticised for his pronounciation. But these two people were never been criticised. It is because of their dedication and respect on the profession.
  It is really horrible to hear some good tunes with bad pronounciation. We cant take those songs as different language songs. Pathatic.
  The singers listed below are non-tamil but tamil singers. They have reached peaks in tfm.
  P.Suseela, S.Janaki, Chithra, Swarnalatha, S.P.Balasubramanium, Jayachandran, K.J.Yesudas, A.M.Raja.

  Hmmm...interesting, I don't really understand this but the song "Theivam Onru" (sung by Krishnaraj) seems to follow the EXACT tune of "Singgam Ondru" from Arunachalam. Can someone explain this? What could have prompted ARR to take one of DEVA's tune? (provided that song was a DEVA original in the first place - which in itself is a PARADOX!)

  About 3 songs are OK. But I still can't digest the Deva tune from Arunachalam to be in Baba. Why in this world need ARR ever do that.....the other 3 or 4 songs will grow on us and may become hits in their own sense.

  I had read that rajini comes in different get up from his old movies. The above mentioned song may be for one of such situation.
  IR has used the tune of "Unnai Onru Ketpean" of MSV in Thaikup Pin Thalatu. Was it a lift? If the hero was not sivaji, then obviously that was a lift. We dont know anything about the present "Baba" scenario. The movie can answer this well.
  I am not talking far for any MD, but trying to give honest opinion.

  Yes Ragavan, that's why I am having the doubt, the song is featured in www.tamilterra.com together with the rest of BABA songs, but on the casette cover (which was featured in www.mohankumars.com as an scanned image- it's no longer there) I didn't see any such song tittles!
