What do we want from IR in future ?

Being the resposible fans of IR, shall we define what we want from IR in future ?

  I do not understand why Kamal and Rajini are ignoring IR.
  
  So i would like a a kamal or rajini movie with Mastero's music.
  
  I would like IR to give a musical hit like "chinna thambi" or "kizhaghu vasal". I mean everything went right for these films with IR's music.
  
  I want better songs from latha,asha,usha uthup under IR.
  
  I want SPB and IR to sing together and give a better song than "Vazhi vidu" or "eduthu nan".
  
  I want IR to give songs filled with vibrant beats..like "raja rajathi" and "rakkamma".
  
  I want my fav singer Jayachandran to sing again for IR.
  
  Last but not the least i want another album from IR& Hari prasad Chaurasia.

  IR started slow in 80s and was at peek at late
  80s. Then in 90s ARR took the tourch from IR.
  Then IR "ETTI PARTHAR" once in a while.
  The best thing for IR would be to release his
  TFM_PAGE_WORLD_FAMOUS symphony and just call it
  quit for good.
  
  Then he will be remembered as one of the BEST

  chingu cha song is very good song by deva.not ilayraja.it is comes from the film porkalam.very good movie.

  IR used the torch to please our ears. ARR is using it to torchure us! that is the difference. :-))

  I did nakkeeran, In fact, I have the album. But, what is the use? I wish IR stop singing in films. (IMHO). None of the album released after 93 didn't impress me at all. Each of the album has some hole in it like too much HH voice, or too much Bava's voice.

  happen to hear Kadal Kavithai : Raja tries to score pretty hard for a come back but nothing works out, few chord progression were good, but as a album --- it sucks more than Padaiappa!.

  TFM DF perumakkalae - Vajpayee govt has fallen and Madam Jayalalitha is back in the reckoning as a force to contend with - we all are aware of the JJ vs IR war - I hope this turn of political events at the centre does not affect IR in any way - courtesy JJ amma.

  Srikanth! I try best to ignore your flames..as srinath would say, everyone is entitled to his moment ofeccentricity. But this? Of late, none of us has really been responding to the provokingest comments on Raja. What ARR Fans and the ilk have been saying of late are sure to bring the red of rage into every IR an's cheek. But did we respond? NO. WhY? Because they were from mere passing butterflies. But when a Srikanth( I am assuming here that you are the same srikanth of India Vision fame) butts in(strong expression result of shock and frustration at your attitude..I am sorry) to throw muck, unwarrantedly , it is time one intervened. Are you really being honest when you say KK sucks more than Padaiyappa? Touch your heart , Srikanth, cant you hear your conscience crying? It doesnt do anyone any good to stifle their conscience ,Srikanth. Believe me, it never works. It is posts like this that causes the rabid reaction of Raja fans. Try as you might to deflect the blame for your criticisms(read UNWARRANTED, UNJUSTIFIED SLURS) on the fanaticism of Raja fans, you cant escape the judgement of posterity. You are, I am sorry to say, demeaning yourself by such reactions. I am pained to observe this but there it is ...you are biased against Raja for some reason.

  Are comparing 'Kadanaaayagan' to KK. What a joke (IMO).
  KK, one of the many worst albums recently done by IR.
  Are you saying that 'Poo Poothathathai Yaar paarthathu....' is really bad. mmmm perhaps, what you could say that all of the MD's sucks except IR. A childish statement -:))))

  Perhaps Srikanth didn't like the cover photo on KK's cassette/CD ;-) Coolums yaar ! I wrote about 6 different response and deleted each without posting :-) Thanks goodness for second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh thoughts :-) These days I feel embarrassed to respond to such blatantly anti-IR posts. Raja-vukku thaan avamariyadhai, comparing him with kanda kanda kuppans and suppans !

  "Chuththi, Chuththi Vandeega" is about as low on creativity as one can get. And some claim this to be the best song in the "Padaiyappa"a album. Now, I don't want to discuss that in this thread - but then again, I don't want to spoil ARR fans' enthusiasm by posting it in a thread where they express their admiration for this song either. Surely, you would have tried playing the charanam on your kb. It is a tune that only an amateur would come up with. I don't even mind your criticizing KK, but to compare it unfavourably with a flop (I mean, a musical failure) ARR album, inspite of knowing the reaction that it would generate, is either incredibly naive or simply mischievious.   i guess srikanth had posted just in the heat of the moment. perhaps he had lot more expectations from IR than ARR and was disappointed by the album. it is definitely better than padayappa anyday but ceratinly not a great album from raja,IMO. other than alai meedhu,
  and konji pesu kannamma/diana to some extent i was not very much impressed with the other songs. but i guess srikanth was his usual instinctive self when he posted that.

  My initial reaction to Diana was not great. But it is 'the' song which I feel is one of the very good melodies produced of-late ('ve heard it for so many times) . I was disappointed to see the mElur kudigaran and Ila arun's stuffs. IR, please come with a score as natural as mounaragam. We are still here to listen to you.

  IMO, Diana song in KK is good, but IR could have done much much better in KK. Though padaiappa songs might become a hit due to Rajni factor, ARR would perhaps not like to be remembered for this album. Minsara kanna is the only song worth mentioning in this album. KK and padaiappa are both very mediocre albums, they dont bring out any niceties which their respective MDs are known for!

  So what?
  I Can list as many songs from movies that IR composed music. Don't pull down Other MDs for the sake of promoting IR. IMO, KK and most of albums recently done by IR is just medicore.

  IMO, KK songs, esp. Diana, alai meedhu, konji pesu, were quite good after two or three hearings. Like MS, I too didn't expect that Ila Arun song from IR. I still feel that KK is quite a good album and it is too good to be compared with a mediocre album like "Padayappa".

  Cool down!!! I feel that Srikanth expected a lot from IR and the album didn't fell below his expectations. I believe, he must not have expected that much from ARR and that is why he says "KK songs suck more than Padayappa songs".
