  Raja, Well said. *, cool down, all those you mentioned McEnroe(German born), Sampras(Greek dad), Chang(Chinese), Agassi(Iranian)? HG Khorana, Kalp Chawla, Chandrasekhar have achieved in a foreign land, could they have become PM or President in the countries where they were?
  
  I don't want a Supreme Court Validated citizen to lead my country, I want a Natural citizen whose citizen ship need not be validated. I appreciate Sonia for declining the PMship. Not because anybody told, but her inner inner voice. Now she is really becoming a good leader.

  enpa ippadi reel vidureengha, I don't think Trisha will act with Rajni & i don't want Trisha to act with Rajni, SIMMS / AISH will be the best choice, even though Aish always wanted to do a film with the super*, she is fully booked for the next 2 years, so it is going to be simms, in my opinion.

  I congradulate Sonia for her decision. She is the best first bahu of our country! Country comes first, finally we are on the rt track with good economic policies, we need a leader with knowledge and credentials to push further. Mr. Manmohan is the best choice.   The story might be probably like this an old man falls in love with a young girl. But this story has been already handled by Sathiyaraj in Adithadi. Baba itself every one saw Rajini's wrikled face and the movie became all time loser. In this fast moving satellite TV world people are not stupid to watch him dueting with Trisha etc. as in 60s and 70s of MGR and Sivaji Thaatha's did with wrinkled face and pot belly acting as 25 year old.

  Re: Sonia. Guys..dont get carried away by rhetoric. I am a NRI and I dont mean to belittle people of my ilk. I dont mean to bring in the feminist angle. Having lived in the US for little over 13 years I only was just sharing my views on the strenghts and weakness of the america society vs ours. It is quite psossible legally Sonia cannot become our prime minister because of her place of birth. But our politicians cannot make a campaign on that issure. Anyways, I think she has made a wise decision to stay away from the post. Now she will be in a stronger position to command the party and its allies.

  I am very flattered by Sonia Gandhi. I couldnt belive my ears when i heard this news. I just thought she is just another politician's wife when she entered politics. She is just great. Every politician( not just indian, the whole world! ) should learn a lesson from her.
  
  I shared this news today with some fellow italian co-workers, they were flattered and very very proud of their fellow country-woman.
  
  A very brave and unique person Sonia Gandhi is.

  Sonia decide not to take PM for 2 reasons;
  
  1. Ragul and Priyanka (and other wellwishers) warned her that her life will be in danger.. note that the previous PMs from Gandhi family were assassinated, and being Non-Indian by birth (not that I care about that), Sonia should have felt threatened even more.
  
  2. Sonia felt that even if she took the PM seat, facing the heat from the opposition parties everyday is not worth it. Insead she decided to put someone else in that seat and enjoy the power from behind the scenes... (something like what Jayalalitha did with Panneer Selvam)
  
  So I dont see anything brave about her decision.. In fact I see that she is hiding out of fear! She feared that India and it's problems are too big for her to handle..
