Ajay Devgan and Vivek Oberoi can’t stop raving about the songs of Mani Ratnam’s Yuva. “A.R. Rahman and Mani Sir and dynamite together,” says Vivek on the sets of Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria’s Masti, and adds, “The six songs Rahman has recorded for the film are mind-blowing.”

Ajay Devgan, his co-star in Yuva and Masti, uses the same words to describe them. Incidentally, when the film was launched earlier this year, Mani Ratnam had decided not to have a single song in it.

Vivek also feels that Abhishek Bachchan’s is the best role and best performance in the film. “That guy’s career will take off in a big way after Yuva,” predicts Vivek.

  Vivek broke his leg when the stuntman rode his bike over Vivek. Vivek wasnt on the bike.
  
  btw,
  I jus got some info abt the kinda words Mani used to scold Surya. I never knew Mani was capable of such words. :(

  In the heat of the monet certain words are supposed to be exchanged. It should taken in the right spirit..There ends the matter.
  
  Vivek broke his leg and now he is fine. Leave it...

  Since the basic story is pretty similar and probably the screenplay too to most point, one actor obviously becomes a yardstick..
  
  I trust mani would bring in best performances from his team, the sole exception being Ash in Iruvar.
  
  I watched AB jr and maddys version of the incidents since they were pretty similar I compared them.
  
  There’s a scene where maddy kills a guy and gives a grunting sound in disgust it was ace, and bachan jr was not a dead pan but it was less intense.

  I am asking you if u are revealing true story(from whatever source)
  
  I am not accusing you becos I dont know if you are making up the story for fun here or if you are stating facts based on what you have heard.
  
  Either way I want to enjoy movie w/out any knowledge abt it prior to viewing. so "IF" you are stating story etc(even if you are not sure if its rumor or not) can you please add the spoiler tag??
  
  
  Why would someone put a spoiler alert on trailers? I though directors were smart enuf to make trailers that reveal only the feel and plot outline of the movie but not actual plot and story.
  
  I have only seen three trailers so far and I did not get the story revealed? Are there any other trailers out there that I am missing?

  check out the film's official website. He's given everything but the plot! :) But personally, I dont consider bits and pieces of the story a spoiler, as long as it doesnt say Who kills whom! :)

  err.. that was old news.Simran was dropped from the venture coz it's in Sync sound, and she can't speak Tamil to save her life. That's where Esha came into picture.

  Madhavan is clever and gets surya and sidd to meet him on the bridge.so they meet up on the bridge (i will not give away the tricks maddy uses to get them there cuz i dont wanna spoil plot).
  
  madhavan sees surya who he hates because hes his aethiree (pun not intended) cuz surya is going against him in elections.siddharth's dad bharthiraja is a panakaran who can wield alot of votes.
  
  madhavan whips out gun to get rid of surya and then kidnap sidd for votes from dad.surya ducks from bullet so sidd gets killed.surya throws knife at maddy so maddy is dead also.
  
  rest of story is abt surya trying to win the election against bharthirajas opposition against him cuz he killed sidd.

  AE's mixing is wonderful.....
  They say it uses the MGC Technology on the CD's, and the VCD will use the latest technology of Mac, iPlay v2.6. Furthermore the theatres screening AE will need to upgrade to THX system for the best result....which i doubt most fo the theatre owners will not do

  Trisha is actually Baharthiraja's daughter, sister of Meera, and Bharathiraja's chinna veedu is Nadiya, mother of Surya. Sidd is actually Madhavan's brother who gone away from home when he was 15 and adopted by a Seth family......Esha is the daughter of a local Pros Pimp.....but she is innocent of course...........
