AR is a good sound engineer not a good composer

This is the statement made by Karthick Raaja some years ago .What is the difference betwen a sound engineer and a composre ..?Can somebody justify this statement or prove it wrong ...?

  Well I don't think he has ever listened to KR compositions. He composes complex scores, compared to ARR's flat and dull slow tunes most of the times.

  No AWE, I am not unbiased. I am as biased as you and your koottam are. My bias meter will be in the extreme when you people are in the peak of PA and IR worshipping. But, unfortunately, God made me to like IR a bit, so even if I wish I could not call IR names as you people do for ARR. I am culture also...
  
  As for Nijam's thread. I saw it and I am sad. But, I read his postings here only now. He has slightly given a hint why he is behaving like this. He has said that if you people shop, then he is even ready to disappear and that thread will vanish in days. What does it shows.? How can you forget the JJ, uththaman, the A and all others who spoiled the nicely running Baba Music thread by all unwarranted PA and filthy bashing of ARR.
  
  Now you people feel the pain because, some one is giving you the same medecine/slap that you were given all along for 3 to 4 years. I don't want to stop him because, when I made the same kind of requests to stalwarts here like NagaS and Kiru and others, they said they never noticed or they never mind those postings. They adviced me too to be cool. I said, I might have to resort to same tactics as those people if this bashing doesn't stop.
  I did not have the courage to do PA as it was not in my blood. Now, you people are frightened because you see your face in the mirror.
  Nijam is like you people. Get to know that. I think he is doing that deliberately because he is fed up as so many others here. All because of you.

  Here is the score card of the deciding cricket match between Established cricketers and Tennis players.

  In a superb exhibition of controlled pace bowling Hewitt sent back the Cricketers side reeling;Though there are still murmurs that he is only a tennis player. This is Hewitt s 10th match in Cricket.Nobody expected Hewitt to last this long particularly ,the cricketers.In all the 10 matches (both overseas and local) Hewitt has proved his allround cricketing skills.The recent one being the performaance at UK in oval and Wimbledon.Yorkshire which has not signed any other national (except Sachin ofcourse) has signed him as their overseas player said the countys chairman Sir A.W.Llyod.
  
  But it is complaint that he could not field well Backward point,Gully and midoff (BGM in short).But in atleast 6 matches Hewitt had a substitute to field in the BGM ie Backward point ,Gully and mid off.But the accusations still continue.
  
  
  But V B chandrasekar is the best fielder in BGM,ie Backward point,Gully and midoff in the world ,his supporters say.Though he has not played any matches overseas.But he has played 815 matches only at venues in at chennai and around against local opponenets.But VBc has many memeorable knocks in a career spanning 16 years.
  
  During Hewitt s fiery spell V B C managed to score 3 successful hits to the fence while Master VBC2 managed 2 hits to the fence.However VBC1 was all at sea against the wonderful exhibition of swing and pace by Hewitt. Hewitt bowled in short spells,changed ends and never allowed the cricketers to settle.
  
  After the match the established cricketer Master VBC1 despite scoring a zero,droppng catches,conceding too many runs,commented that still they are the best cricket players as Hewitt is only a tennis player.

  I don't think ARR needs to prove any thing any more. He has proven himself many times and has soared and progressed tremendously over the years.
  
  Icons such as MSV, IR and ARR are pokkishams for Tamil film music and we should be fortunate that we are able to enjoy their works.

Don't put the blame on IR fans. It is because of Nijam lots of threads are going directionless here. Whenever IR-ARR fight cools down, he comes up and says something silly about IR. All he has to remember is IR has millions of hardcore fans in TN and all over the world. Those days IR had the same status as Rajini enjoyed. Fanatics. Obviously he has more tamil fan base than others. If he thinks he can get away with rude remarks like 'IR is vengayaam' about IR he is sadly mistaken.

  4MB free storage posting must be the work of devastated IR fans (just look at the user ID). Nijams postings is a good lesson for people who post unnecessary & unwanted messages on ARR threads. For losers like Uthaman, JJ, MUSICLOVER, Unmai etc, Nijams postings serve them right.

  AWE, giving musical forms to one's thoughts is more of a composer's thing to do than a sound engineer's.

  Not exactly. U can learn (read, or by experience, or watch others) abt it, but then there is no fixed rule that u have to do it this way all the time. Again its upto the man behind it who determines the right variables for a particular effect. (I say this not becos I am a sound engineer, but I attended some recording sessions in my friends studio). If it were some science with fixed formulae, u and I can learn them and use it all the time, no need for a H Sridhar or ARR.
  
  As far as ARR being not a good composer, there are some examples which might say otherwise, but they were conveniently brushed off or neglected, when mentioned before.
