  i don't think RK will drop this movie, these are just rumors.
  btw, if this news is true then RK is accepting he no longer has any popularity.

  Bala, I used to like rajini and his movies a lot. I think he is a natural actor. I liked him because of his philosophical outlook. But it looks like he has squandered away his opportunities. People do not like individuals who like to stay out of the system and still like to influence the system. Rajni, should have created a party forged an alliance with DMK and formed government in the state when Jaya was thrown out of power first. As a minister in the cabinet, he could have done so many things. Even if he had broken up with DMK later, he would have had a track record of performing as a legislator. Now, I dont think he has any credibility. He has lost all his lustre for politics. Not sure, how much is left on him as a star. It is a good idea to shelve jaggubhai atleast temporarily. People surely dont see eye-to-eye on things with him anymore. Somehow, I cant help wonder whether he gambled away his 'superstardom' on betting on various horses in the political racecourse.

  Treat Rajini as the actor-super star only.
  As Bala rightly pointed out, he treated all of as a family and gave freedom to act as we wished and never imposed that all should vote to his preference only.
  Dinakaran is not an authentic newspaper and i wouldn't believe this news.

  He didn't use it now he is paying the price. ppl wont treat him just as a star.
  Though i don't like RK's attitude in the last 3-4 years, i wish he retires with a decent hit.

  Director K S Ravikumar has in an interview stated that the film Jaggubhai has not been dropped and that the shooting will take place as scheduled. Jagan is the name of the film's central role done by Rajnikant and Bhai means elder brother. “He is not a terrorist nor has the film anything to do with spiritualism. This film like Muthu, Baasha or Padayappa is a full length commercial entertainer. The film has shootings in Kolkatta, Mumbai, Bihar and Chennai. There is no politics in this film. Now that many are imitating Rajini this film will have him introduce a new style" revealed Ravikumar.
  The controversial ad released on polling day contained the punch lines of the hero in the film .He said that the script discussion was on and he would be away for a week and come back. His associates would be working on the script. Rajini too was going away on a holiday since Ravikumar was away. Since Aishwarya Rai did not have dates for 2 years the search for heroine continues. ‘The film would be released for Pongal’ said Ravikumar.

  Whats up with Sify, they are so lop sided? I personally think they are trying to get popular bashing rajini (a la PMK). Not that it wont work!!
  
  I agree with posts here, Rajini should enter politics or just stay the hell out of it! No going back and forth!
  
  I am hoping Jakku Bhai to be a big hit, I am a big fan or Rajini AND KS Ravikumar! So unless our man tries to write the screenplay (as in Baba!), the movie should be good!
