  All actors want to get into politics assuming that they can repeat the success of Mr. MGR. But they should understand one thing. Before MGR started his party, the ADMK, he was part of the DMK for more than ten years before he started on his own. In fact Kalaigar wrote the script for most of his movies at that time. Everybody knows they are thick friends. As a party member, he helped DMK to propagate there messages and policies, which helped DMK to a great extent to come into power. It naturally helped MGR to gain popularity among the public and learn the nuances of politics. Then after the death of Mr.Annadurai and because of internal rift with Mr.Karunanidhi, who was the CM at that time, MGR was forced upon by his friends and others who don't like kalaingar, to start a new party. And the rest everybody knows.
  
  Also the people at that time were not very much aware of the ground realities. That's the time MGR strated his new party and became the CM. People believed that Heroes in Cinema will be Heroes in real time too.
  
  Everything ended with the demise of MGR. No body in India can repeat this again. Never can Jaghubhai repeat this. The time that he is in, is totally different from what it was in Seventies. People are atleast made aware of what's going around. One good thing is the electronic media that's in place now. A powerful media can influence the public more than what Rajini can. In this regard, Sun TV is the biggest asset for DMK. They can easily tarnish the image of Rajini as day goes by. Now a days its hard to see Rajini movies on SUN network.
  
  It's better for Rajini to realise and do justice to his profession and as well as make his huge fans entertain with new movies rather then getting into politics. Just Act in Cinema, don't ever try to act in real life. It's not good for Rajini as well as for his Fans. Already he spoiled his nexus with other party leaders as well as his image in public.
  
  We want only movies from Rajini, not his governance.

  tsk tsk rajini.what i find funny is how he spends 2 yrs off says he is searching for a story.Then he announces jagghubhai but he doesnt even have a story.a story made in a rush is sure to be bad.

  Very shocking that after a movie like Virumaandi, Kamal will stoop down to the level of doing a re-make and also name it as Vassolraja MBBS.
  
  This just shows nobody is interested in art. Everybody want money, quick money and fame and assured hit. What an opportunistic move by kamal.

  The movie in hindi was amazing.
  It was a pleasant relief from the stupid masala stuff being churned out.
  I really think it's a good idea. Tamil audience cud do w/ a good storyline and a lotta feel good sequences. But Kamal shud be really careful so as to not affect the way it's presented. Overdose of slapstick or drama, either way, the movie cud get spoilt.
  
  If such a movie finally ends up making money, well, i dont find nething wrong w/ it! :)

Super star is always a super star.Still the people love him for his simplicity.Think people think, if anyone would have got such a fame, they would have made all the way to the CM chair and looted the state as the other people did.He didn't do that...He never cared for his image.He just talked whatever he felt like talking, as how we do with our family people.He considers us as his family.He will never be reluctant to talk now or then.Just make a note on ur dairy folks, "Once Super star fan is always a Super star fan".His second release movies make more money than the top notched heroes first releases.He will rise from the ashes.When he fell ill in early 80's everbody wrote , thats the end of Rajinikanth.He came back like a storm, straight 10 silver jubilee movies....   Dinakaran says he has totally dropped it forever - following the election debacle.
  
  The following link says - that he has shelved it for now - implicitly leaving a semblance of a chance that it coul be revived later.
