  May be Mr.Vengatragavan misunderstood me again.
  1) When i say lyrics.. bending of Tamil words by Singers for example female singer of Kichu Kichu
  has pronounced tamil very badly. Unless the MD permits she won't sing like that. I am not against Lyrics!!! It is crap anywayz... it has been crap ever since we started hearing Muqaabalas, Shakalaka babies, Mala Mala ... That's not my point. The pronunciation of the singer is awful.
  
  2) Second we shall go to your argument. Lyrics are bad. So put the blame on Lyricists. Isn't it the job of MD to satisfy himself before sending out this crap. Isn't it his job to get the lyrics modified if he doesn't like it? Taking care of lyrics is part of Music Director's job.
  
  3) I never said music was good. Tune was good. It was awful tune. As i mentioned in my previous threads starting resemble the following song. It is a very very ordinary composition. That was my point.

  Was discussing Baba music over lunch and a friend remarked most of Rajini's movie songs over the past decade were well received initially...Once the movie gets released, public acceptance grows with it - much of it has to do with the man's charisma itself.

  By The way the Baba songs vimarsanaighal are Welcome .I
  liked all the songs..but feel that more Raga based cud have been better.Songs
  like kannalane(bombay),Vedai kudu engal naade(kannathile mutham ) oo lalala (minsara
  kanavu ) .. kaatre nee vasal(rythem), all songs of sangamam etc.. had a lot of

  I still have not listened to Baba even once.
  I'm quite interested to hear everyone' comments on tis album, bot +ve and -ve. But when certain people here call names and make personal attacks on anyone who has anything good to say about the album, post with 20 diff versions of IP wit 50 diff names, all within minutes apart and behave like lunatics, it really impedes the flow of discussion. You cant even tell which r genuine comments of disappointment and which r repeated posts by the same few morons, unless u scrutinise the IP digits each time. But keep going and posting ur news bits mate. I thought tat the "old-timers" of tis thread shud get together for a private chat once we get to watch the movie. I was already thinking of tat b4 the lunatics invaded tis thread, but now it wud be more useful.
