  sorry for my late posting. Well i was lil busy...well few of you has said that i should not pull Fr.Jegath / IIR into this. Well since Fr.Jegath has started a non profit organisation he is liable to answer..some one said he is busy....then why he is into this...he has to coordinate each and everything.....HE HAS TO...and IIR can also answer the questions since he is the composer and he has to come into the picture..so that every fan of HIS..we will be very glad and confident..u have to make people comfortable and confident..whats wrong in coming out with clean strategy
  Well since they said Oct is the release date and they said Pongal and now its Tamil New year..so when finally......???????

  Do you REALLY think that Fr. J and IR will/can/could/should personally answer every question raised by every person in these multitudes of internet threads?
  
  I don't think it is humanly possible.
  
  But I agree they should be updating the TiS site more regularly. After all, that is THEIR official site.
  
  I also know your asssumption 'Fr. Jegath started a non profit org' is not true. He is just a part of it. You make it sound like he started it to be a 'get rich quick' scheme. There's enough info about Tamil Maiyam on the TiS site. You should have known this if you were serious about answers and had read the info on that site for answers.

  Dear Friend,
  Isaignani Ilaiyaraja is attempting an unique venture to create Saint Manickavasakar's Thiruvasakam in Sumphony format.
  This is a very massive undertaking that requires sustained effort (both in terms of work and money).
  If you are not aware of this project, kindly visit www.thiruvasakaminsymphony.com and www.raaja.com for further details.
  We are a set of volunteers working on collecting funds for this project. Our efforts have the blessing of Ilaiyaraja and we are targetting April 14th 2004 to be the release date.
  As part of our efforts, we have prepared the following questionnaire. Our request is for you to complete this questionnaire.
  Even if you don't intend to contribute for this project, please answer this questionnaire. Thank you.

  SSS, in case you havent yet, can you include a small writeup in your site as to why funds are being collected for this venture and why help is needed. A few who dont come here to this site(TFMDF) but may visit the site you have put up might be wondering as to why donations are being asked. I dont remember seing anything in this regard when I browsed your site sometime back.If you do have some info put up, pl post the pointers.

  But, fyi, IIR wants this project to be funded by his fans, Tamil and music lovers, mainly. This is to create an awareness of our great tradition and at the same time to get people involved. More over, IIR doesn't want his musical freedom to be dictated by commercial marketeers. These facts have been stressed often in the site as well as in these forums many times. Still we will definitely accede to your suggestions. Thanks.

  a suggestion:
  maybe you can request admin to add a permanent 'donate' sentence on top of the thread.
  
  by the way, you can cut down 'quoting' stuff and asking others not to get it in wrong sense. most of your quotes doesn't give any sense.
  
  very much inappropriately, unprofessionally placed.
  
  I don't think there is a need to place quotes from tamil songs and other stuff. people do understand the value of the project without those perks.
