I am very anxious to get the early reviews for this film. Anyone who has already seen this movie, please be sure to post the review and mainly the BGM by the maestro.

Mythila,
u wud ve heard IRs INDIA 24hrs, the movies bgm goes along those musical structures though u can hear some new sounds and the music cannot be categorized into any of those which uve mentioned. the BGM narrates the story as wel speak the language of sithaan, as sithaan is silent all thro the movie and the music speaks for him. the movie is elevated to a higher level bcos of the music and the feel it gives is unexplainable. a few more viewings/listenings of the movie wud reveal more to us.

I have watched this movie 4 times now... For the BGM alone. The title score, sets you up the rest of the story. An excellant piece catching the mood. The extraordinary sync when "she" leanes towards Mayanaboomi Board, the shift in the feeling, can only be felt. All the scenes where the forest is the background, Raja is simply amazing. The power of live violins (after all these MDs using Keyboard samples), is refreshing. Full & Overwhelming feeling, I come out of theatre..One of the best of Raja...Thanks Raja...

The Climax scene where Vikram is seen Crying seeing the skull of Surya (Dead Body) for the first time... IR's BGM is simply Amazing. He Lift the Scene to great extent just by his BGM.
The Last film where IR gave a similar performance was in Mal film GURU. There the orchestration was done at HUNGARY and the film had greater oppurtunities for his BGM's.

solo,
you are such a spoilsport! The movie is only a week old and not many people have watched it. There you go, describing crucial details of the climax.
I regret having visited this thread.

Guys, even the reviews of Vikatan and Tamil Cinema kind of mentioned about the climax(Surya's state). So, solo, you don't have to feel too sorry for this.

Thanks for all those wonderful selfish people out there for revealing the plot and destroying our viewing experience!
I dont know why Indian reviews (like AV, Kumudam, indian websites) reveal the story. Most foriegn reviews and film festival reviewers and other popular revieweres like Roget Ebert from Chicago Tribune have such an impeccable style of reviewing.
We people think that review means "padathoda kadhai yenna?"
Atrocious!

V....I echo ur feelings. Dunno why ppl. still have a high regard for Vikatan's review. That joker has spoilt every possible surprise in his "review"

guys there is a simple way to have the cake and eat it too. A simple SPOILER AHEAD before a post of that nature would be a tremendous help

Exactly ebertfan!
But the unfortunate thing is that review in our country means "padathoda kadhai enna?"
Are you really an Ebert fan??
Me too! Though I find him too lenient towards dramas. But still today, if I see a 4 star from Ebert I watch that movie!

V......I am a huge fan of thaatha! I safely ignore his thumbs down movies.
Add Drew Barrymore and Angelina Jolie movies to his "leniency" list:)(He was one of the two critics in the whole wide world who liked "Original Sin":))
