OISG... AY do not even know the meaning of about orchestration, melody, overture, harmony, symphony.. These things are too much for their brain... Let us disillusion ourselves by talking to people who like songs like maya maya chayya chayya, sonia sonia, take it oorvasy, muqabala, shakalaka baby... He cannot score pure folk music.. He cannot score pure carnatic music.. He cannot score pure western classical music.. What else he knows? He can copy hip hop songs from Spanish songs, English pops, Arabic tunes you name it.. Does he have his own style? No.. I have witnessed couple of classical concerts myself.. The orchestration is phenomenal.. The only person who gives that effect is Illayaraja.. Rest of the people like ARR are slaves to keyboards.. Sure modern keyboard can produce amazing sounds.. We don't want sounds.. We want music.. there is a huge difference..

Uthaman the low life creature, don't talk about your shitty IR here.
Trained by IR on sex and lewdness, you will only enjoy songs such as raasaave chitterumbu ennai kadikkithu, orampo rukkumani vandi varuthu, oru manja kuruvi, nilaa kayuthu, kattavandi kattavandi, nethu rathiri yemma, loveuna loveu manna sttoveu - these will be in you list of "class" songs.
His idea of ideal singers are karakarappu voice of IR, thenjupona voice of Bavatharani, keechu kural of S Janaki -- mattamaana taste!
What do you expect?? This mental retards actually enjoy IR's music!!!
Look at what happened to K. Vishvanath. He made a great movie called Sankaraparanam with heavenly music by KVM. The movie was not even dubbed into Tamil but made great strides all over and won several accalims.
And then, god knows what got into him and he switched to low class music of IR. After Salangai Oli which was saved by Kamal's acting, K Vishvanath just disappeared into oblivion.
People like Manivannan and R Sunderarajan rather than becoming sacrificial lambs at the pathetic music sense of IR, decided to make their lives more worthwhile by quitting direction and concentrating on acting, by which they did not ever have to face IR again.
Thus hideous is IR. No I am not talking about looks alone, but about the karum pulli.
Poor Sridhar. He was riding high in the 60s with the glorious music of MSV, but fate didn't leave him alone and came in the roobam if IR and virtually destroyed him.
But anyway, all is not lost. 90s saw a viduvu kaalam for Tamil cinema with the adevnt of ARR. The rest, as they say, is history.
But morons like Uthaman, cannot accept reality and spend 24 hours posting idiotic stuff and wasting everyone's time like how Ir is wasting his time now.

Thank you for the pains taken
(((May be he did and may be he didn’t. Who are these guys(esp.when they know nuts) to decide how good IR music is? )))
People who are to suppose to recognise and honour various aspects of Film music have not done that.( basically the award committees)
You claim someone to be of international standard when nothing has been done by him to reach to international masses.(hence i said hollywood ..it could be even Honkong mocvies which have a large following)
He is supposed to done a thing which whould take the world by storm ...the symphony..and he wants it NOT TO BE RELEASED!
I quit the thread because no one came out with a concrete answer about his international works and acheivements.
Nice to see the list of international composers who have a made a mark in BGM in world movies. When is IR going to reach that list?
Why my simple question does not reach you people? What is your base to say that he is the best in BGM ,apart from your mindless sycophancy?Your anger at Rehman s international success and IR s lack of it just covers your eyes. For that you indulge in mindless mudslinging.People from Miramax-sony to AW Llyod to Shankar have been foul mouthed.Impressive list of enemies you have!Alas! Most of them do not know even that you,a motely lot of fanatics, exist.
Ok..Engalukku music theriyathu endre vaithuk KoLvom.
Ada!Enna naan venduvathu! One day men like Awe should make a Holywood musical and have IR as its MD.

Uthaman, I have a very important task for you.
Read this: http://www.financialexpress.com/fe_full_story.php?content_id=17742
and then go write to Sony Music on why they are making the biggest blunder in their lives. You must convince them to buy Ivan or En Mana Vanile.
At least then your time will be worth spending.

Another Baba is expected in the form of Kadhal Virus.. The same hype were created by people like you, OISG, AY... what happened.. Kizhi Kizhi endru Kizhithu vittargal all magazines.. Now all are quite.. Already talking about songs that are yet to be released. Carry on with your hypes.. Whole year he could score just 3 Tamil movies? Shame on him.. Yea right Van Damme is a better known actor in Afghanistan than Robert Deniro. Shall we say Vandamme is a great actor.. Illayaraja already entered into international.. First know the difference between Classical music and Film music.. Then talk about who is reaching international..
With 1000000s of people scoring hip hop songs.. ARR is one among them. How can you claim he reached internationals? Lot of people walked away during the middle of the Bombay dreams show? Why? Oh he reached international.. 90% of the audiences were Indians. You know what.. Total Population of England is 4.9 crores. Total Population of Tamil Nadu is 6.2 crores. If you still think ARR has made into international continue to live in illusion.

Have you written to Sony music yet?
Only to you and other hopeful IR fans, Baba is a disaster. In the real world, Baba music is riding the charts.
Too bad no one has even heard of Ivan and En Mana Vaanile. Better three gems than 100 rubbish that no one even knows.
Shall we give you more vayethrichals?
Check out Bombay Dreams musical rating right now: http://www.albemarle-london.com/news.html
I think it is time you wrote to these guys giving your high and mighty views!

Very Nice Review about Bombay Dreams.. open your eyes well and read it.. i have some more.. get read for one by one..
"I am ashamed to say that this was the first time I was truly tempted to leave at the interval - but I am glad that I didn't. I never could have dreamt that it could get so much worse.
To say that the never-ending second act was dull is an understatement, and unlike We Will Rock You (where the rest of the audience were unexplainably on their feet) the audience of Bombay Dreams were as underwhelmed as I by the time curtain calls came round.
I don't take enjoyment out of ripping a show to shreds, but I have a duty to you readers to tell you how diabolical the show is. Because if I had spent money on top price tickets I would demand a refund.

The Review is on the play and by one man.
Did you see the rating of Bombay Dreams in the listing?
Or, as usual you turned a blind eye to reality?

So, obviously you bought that cd, right?
Have you already got the refunds for Ivan & EMV?
Since you are an ARR fan, you probably didn't buy those cd's
Hahahah I don't know which line is the punch line here....
