  Of course Kannthil Muthamittal ..also it had some songs called "sinnore,vidai kodu ,Sundari " which were good ,but did not make any impact ..If iam right ,the only song which was 10/10 was the tKanthatil Muthamittal song ...

  I feel 'Oru theivam thantha poovee' and 'Vidai Kodu engaL naadee' were the only 'complete' songs in Kannaththil Muththamittaal, Rest were okay ... (Strictly IMO :-)

  I feel this is the best album in recent times. Atleast 4 songs are very good and are instantly likeable. One need not force it onto themselves by listening 10-20 times;-) And next to IR I am beginning to like KR's interludes and effective usage of solo violin. Lovely! My picks are PiLLai thaamarai, Kaadhal vaanoLi, ChEllamaai chEllam, ThaththaLikkudE and Thaazhampoo. Worth a buy. Remains to be seen how consistent KR will be in maintaining such quality.

  What are the other films for which KR is doing ..?
  How is IVANN..?Any reviews ..?Chennaionline has given an average rating for IVANN...
  
  If KR follows up with scores like this ,he will be the man of 2002 ..If he gives like vanchinathaan (worst music ...) he is done ...
  and KR is much better than HArris Jeyaraj who basically recycles the tune ..and HArris and YSR fall under the same category ..Only KR has some unique style ......

  hi all,
  
  been listening to 'pillai thamarai' endlessly, i wonder, what situation in a tamil movie can it fit. it has to stand alone, i guess. for that matter, all the songs show a lot of promise, but needs the backing of the movie's success on the whole. or else it is going another 'grahan'. the most significant aspect of this attempt by KR, he let it flow rather than overdoing or trying too much.....

  Kudos to KR ..I feel this is how a music should be ..three great melodies ,one dancing number ,two good songs ..If "thathaliathey " could have been a more rythmic and "Thazampoo" more melodious ,iam sure ALBUM would be a strong contender for national award

  Songs are nice and melodious very interesting handling of ragas and orchestration.
  One can only hope we can hear more from Karthik Raja in future.
  All depends on commerical success of the film

  I listened to parts of two songs in TV and stared humming it. Seems to be a very nice effort from KR. Better than his brothers KS.
  
  I like that chellame chellam song. But, it some how reminds me "Kala devanin dharma ellaigal maarugindradhe..Oh" part from "Oh..oru thendral puyalaagi varume" song from some BR film. It is not an allegation, but just and observation. With what ever I have heard from TV, I think KR has a good product on hand.
