newtfmpage surfers get-together???

hi all, lot of music fans hang out the entire day on newtfmpage.com. How about a get-together? :-)

  Ooo..that's what PBS stood for.
  Yes i have heard of P.B.Srinivas.
  I rememeber getting confused between PBS and Srinivasan(sang in Taj Mahal)... think i spelled his name wrong!
  Anyways... then someone told me about PBS..and i have listened to one of his songs before in tamil.

  Why did i miss this meeting?! :(
  I was down w/ a pretty rough combo of sore throat, a cold, and a headache with all the sweets and loud crackers going off on Diwali!
  The next day, my RAM refused to work... it dint even do a POST for godssake!!
  My poor AMC guy gave his own memory stick to help me type this msg today!!
  
  When's the next meeting? Cant wait for it.
  But then, NOV is when my Practicals come up..
  Early part of nov, i'd gladly come..
  19th my internal exams start.. :"(
  24th my Sem Practicals.. :(

  Gives a brief history of how this page was born -upto 1998 and an intro to the founders of this page.Makes for some compelling reading. Just scroll back a couple of pages to read Rajaraman's writeup.

  it was really elaborate Prabhu. but the part before i came in was quoted by i thought i wud save it for myself. neway lemme explain wat happend b4 i joined the discussion.
  
  i came in my bike as i was parking the vehicle. i saw a few guys chatting n lookin at me. i had a feeling they were expecting someone. i walked towards them and they saw directly towards me i wnet near them and asked in a qeustioning manner 'lord labakkudas?' . they didnt hear me properly it seems and asked wat? i said 'nothing' and jus walked off without looking back so i dunno wat their reactions wud hav been :-)
  nxt thing i did was to up LLD and ask where they were. he said he was inside the restaurant and hell be coming out to meet me. i said iam wearing a red shirt and walking towards the restaurant. he having his mobile glued to his ears me to mine were both walking towards each other asking 'enga enga' i saw him talking and he saw me talking too and both were looking away as i didnt want another embarrassing moment. so im kept on talking 'engaya irukeenga' finally i got some courage to look driectly at him and ask 'lordlabakkudas?' . rendu perum vazhijom and he said 'ohhhhhh red shirt nnu sonninga illa?'....... and thus i joined the discussion.

  If I were you, I'd feel happy about making that mistake.
  Imagine the consequences if you had gone to the guys and enquired for Chinna Poochaandy(C~P) instead of LLD!
