Why no(less !!) female participation in newtfmpage DF?

Guys,
I am a silent watcher of DF for quite sometime. I have always wondered why there is not much female participation is discussions in this internet world.Any idea? Does they lack knowledge about TFM in general? No girl has sound technical knowledge about music? Or they hide behind a guys name and post?

  thats wat i said....i sed u wudnt know what Mor Kozhambu or a Vatha Kozhambu is!
  and yeah...since the food which u make would be inedible in any case, y dont u try adding some mutton/chicken to Sambhar? ... ull probably discover a Mutton Sambhar or a Chicken Sambhar! :-)
  btw....ur completely non veg or wat? ... u dont seem to be liking any veg items

  Raasam + Chicken (already exist)

  Did I mention chicken is the only meat I eat? ;). C~P I do like veg... but none of the things you guys mentioned, I like them srilankan style.

  I just cannot eat meat because the thought of eating a dead body corpse never goes away from my mind, I can even visualize blood cells and tissues in the meat!

  I recently had the same thoughts as you did, but it didnt make me stop from eating meat.. or just chicken at atleast. I've never chopped up chicken until... last month, that was a gross experience.
  
  But anyway... Arent some humans strange???? That some of us eat cooked corpses and also eat "Eggs" that comes out of a chicken's *beep*

  -work hard to move up the corporate ladder that
  leaves no time for TFM threads
  -want to finish their MS/MBA in a year or their Ph.D in three years leaving no time for fun
  -find these men posting in these threads intellectually less stimulating
  
  You can add more so that Subha can decide which one of these reasons is most likely!

  there was an article in India Today(??) long ago....it seems there were Swamis in Varanasi who eat half burnt corpses after extingusihing them mid way.....yuck....sorry if this caused any vaanthi/baethi/thalai vali/vayatha vali/joram/jalathosham/irumbal/thummal etc etc! :-)

  I cant really answer for all the women/girls, but couple of girls I know like dudes who kid around. Being jolly is a good thing, there's a limit though, I think it depends on how open-minded the person is???? What the heck am I saying?

  Prabhu: Actually it is 'desi bells' on 'desi belles' on several stages across the USA - all aspiring to be Malavika Charukais, Yamini Krishnamurthys, Vaijayanthimala Balis and Mrinalini Sarabhais. Someday there will be one!
