Why no(less !!) female participation in newtfmpage DF?

Guys,
I am a silent watcher of DF for quite sometime. I have always wondered why there is not much female participation is discussions in this internet world.Any idea? Does they lack knowledge about TFM in general? No girl has sound technical knowledge about music? Or they hide behind a guys name and post?

  Prabu, yes you guessed right... Srilankan it is.. .But Jaffna isnt the only place in srilanka ;), Mannar is part of it too :P. I guess we are like the "northwest" of srilankans...

  now that u know it has potato and cauliflower, u being curryleaf(!), wud know how to make it in the non edible form! ... send me a report after u test it! ;-)

  MIL: Talai Mannar(Mannar) reminded me of Indo-Ceylon express, also known as boat mail. The train ran from Madras to Mandapam Camp. You then took a boat/ferry to cross Palk Straits, landed in Talai Mannar and took another train to travel to interior Ceylon. I think that area in India was washed away in a cyclone and the train now stops in Rameswaram. It was common for people to cross the straits near Danushkodi and land in Talai Mannar. I think Talai Mannar is part of Mannar. I hear they are planning to build a bridge for the old link. A little bit of history not taught in schools!

  Thanx for the Info. My Grandfather worked in Dhanashkodi b4 it was washed out. He worked for RMS (Railway Mail Service). Gr8 to know the information.. so Mannar is the bigger part??

  When i started this thread you guys rounded me and asked questions about my gender and some ip clashes. Now you have surrounded another female poster curryleaf. I think this is one of the reason why girls are afraid to post here. Once you know that it is a girl you guys try to chit-chat with her leaving the subject completely. Guys never change !!

  Ah come on, I do know what sambar is... but I have no clue what those are -------> Mor kuzhambu & Vaththal kuzhambu. Anyway... the taste of sambar is yucky. Y'all are talking about vegetarian food too, I like some meat in my lunch, dinner, snack :D.
