Why no(less !!) female participation in newtfmpage DF?

Guys,
I am a silent watcher of DF for quite sometime. I have always wondered why there is not much female participation is discussions in this internet world.Any idea? Does they lack knowledge about TFM in general? No girl has sound technical knowledge about music? Or they hide behind a guys name and post?

  Nice you came out of your nut shell. Sad that the bad state of newtfmpage DF prevented you from sharing your knowledge. Many oldtimers left DF due to the same reason. Please contribute atleast in sane threads like Dhool.com Song of the day thread and Amateur Composers thread.

  LLD/Subha or LLD,Subha:) - Identity crises are not silly..they are funny ..In the past newtfmpage has witnessed people using different names to post, sometimes in the same thread and they even respond to each others post(!!). Then they come with hilarious stories like roommates, teammates etc:)). (The writing pattern, Vocabulary etc would be exactly the same)
  I am fishing for some interesting story here too.

  Curryleaf, I thought only guys use foodnames as nick for the following reasons:
  1. Living away from home, missing home food.
  2. They've had enough experience making burnt dosas, naasama pona omelettes, carbon filled chappathis
  3. Same as above but due to regular thittu from wife, Idli or Dosai would be too ambitious :)

  Aiyo, all because I used nicknames connected to food? I just wanted diff nicknames so thats why I chose sukkarotti and curryleaf and stuff...

  curryleaf, what is Mannar?? Normally away from Indians use nostalgic nicks and talk in tamil...so when u used one like icekatti, i just assumed you cant be an indian and should be srilankan! Is the guess correct? :)
