Why no(less !!) female participation in newtfmpage DF?

Guys,
I am a silent watcher of DF for quite sometime. I have always wondered why there is not much female participation is discussions in this internet world.Any idea? Does they lack knowledge about TFM in general? No girl has sound technical knowledge about music? Or they hide behind a guys name and post?

  I'vent seen u post like this at all. I thought u were quite a nice guy.. but even thinking of splitting subha like that needs SOME imagination.

  Speaker, Paran: Normally in India guys with the name starting with 'sub'(eg Subash, Subramani) are called Subbu. subha is strictly a girl's name.

  not necessarily....just like Subbalakshmi is called Subbu, even Subha can be called Subbu....Subbu is thus a universal name! :-)

  Subbalakshmi is not a frequent name??
  there is M.S. Subbalakshmi.....and there is Suvalakshmi who was original Subbalakshmi...and there'll be lots of paati's having that name

  As i said earlier i am a silent participant in newtfmpage. Reason 1)no music knowledge 2)guys rule here and i felt odd to post. I dont know why newtfmpage is ruled by guys. Other DF's in net has sufficient female participation. But here its nearly nil.:-(

  It will be my pleasure to meet you.Do let me know when u reach Bangalore. Like Chennai, why cant we Bangalore guys and gals have a small meet sometime?

  Subha, there are lot of postings with ambiguous names. I believe that at least 25% of posters in TFM are females. By putting these names, nobody bothers whether they are male or female. I myself am female and have a great knowledge of music, but I find that is not worth posting in most threads as some die hard fans are blindly posting as though they know everything to know about music and degrade others comments.

  if every female thinks like that then obviously this forum will be "ruled" by only males.
  
  the idea of this forum is not to be ruled by any particular sect. it is here just to discuss about the TFM, Simple!. Now its upto the people to shed their inhibitions and notions and contribute to this splendid forum and enrich its content.

  Similarly there are some 4-5 guys from Motorola with IP 128.107.253.37 or something, I thought GCT_Kuil and Razia were the same, but there are many guys like that.

  One is under my name. I think someone used my name.Its not my ip.My ip always starts with 12.
  And if you can see the first link there is a post by subha using the same ip in "the sahana ragam" thread 9 months back. So she is a old timer and have posted with the same ip 9 months back.:-)
