What do we want from IR in future ?

Being the resposible fans of IR, shall we define what we want from IR in future ?

  I wish I could write more, But I'm neither I'm not an expert writer nor I don't have the time. FYI, I does not hold nothing against IR. If you don't think objective measures are not the right way, you're rejecting the truth and living in the dream. Orchestration alone does not contribute to the success of the song.
  
  I've listened all the songs that you have listed. Paatu Paadava was alright except IR spoiled it. Listen, 'Nil Nil...' song by IR, and you would be dissapointed. So does the other songs, excepts SPB did a good job in 'Chinna Kan Manikulley...'.
  
  One more thing: Don't just assume that I like only 80's song, I also listen to the new song. I don't like it very much as I do like the 80's song. How do you know how many IR albums I have? Don't just assume, write it for sake of writing.
  
  Did you listen: 'Vaanam Arukil Oru Vaanam...' song by S-G? Great orchestration. Good song too, but rest of the songs aren't that great in that movie. Have you listened 'Kaalai Thendral Paadi varum...' in Uyarntha uLlam. That evoke mood when you listen it in the morning, not the song you've mentioned in Paatu paadavaa.

  My comments about S-G is not just based on Pattuvanna rosa. I can cite many such
  numbers. But I abstain as that does not contribute to this thread at all. But one thing
  common between both S-G and Deva is their shamelessness in deliberate, voluntary
  copying to make songs popular. That has never been a feature of MSV, KVM, IR or even
  ARR.
  
  It doesn't matter whether ARR/IR/MSV/Deva/S-G copied one song or many songs. As long as they copied, that's it, period.

  Raj, I dont see any "heap of abuses", or "blind attacks on IR" in Srikanth's postings. Hes not discrediting IR in any way when he says KK sucks. He and many others like to hear ONLY quality stuf from IR, and nothing less than that... since IR has excelled in the past! IR was known to produce nothing but excellent music! And IMO, you seem to be making a mountain out of a mole-hill.. so cool it!
  
  What do we want from IR in future?? One thing he can definitely do is to stop promoting his daughter. Some of the recent IR songs would sound better if he had chosen swarnalatha, anooradha or harini. I like bhava in 2 songs - idhu sangeedha thirunaalo and mastana mastana, but she sounds really bad in many others!

  Srikanth, IP and Chandy, please restate your arguments after accounting for Raj's inclusion of the time-period factor for objective observations. You'll find that each of your arguments has already been (pre-emptively) countered by Raj.
  
  BTW, my support for Raj is not because of our preference for IR, but because of our similar approaches to logic.

  or ARR can do it, Padaiappa is one the worest album from ARr, he struggles lot in the score, So I took it as a scale to compare IR score, without any doubt KK scores are pretty poor,

  That about sums it up. I am really sorry I have not mastered the art of articulating in a less verbose manner. But as Srinath -thankfully for me there is someone who has the patience to go through my posts meditatively and understand my import- points out each of the points you raise have been preemptively countered. Not for nothing are my posts long:-))
  
  Perhaps in the future I should stop pre-empting....atleast that would reduce the length of my posts and help you go through it and understand it:))

  Have a look at the above statement by IP - can anyone find even a single mistake, either grammatical or spelling wise ? NO !!

  Mr.IP, are you really poor in English or, are you just GOOFING UP this whole poor English knowledge thing of yours , so as to distract and veer away from the logic in Raj's and Srinath's postings/arguments ?!
  
  That is poor stuff Mr.IP, I tell you - otherwise how else can one explain the mistakeless statements in your postings ACCOMPANYING the "liberally sprinkled deliberate" mistakes in your statements ? That is a very interesting ploy IP is using - while refuting Raj's statements , his "put up" "poor English" is used - to assert his own view, "Good English" is used !!

  TSIE: Whoever you are, IP is known to me quite well. And whatever be the differences of opinions we have, we certainly are not going to kudumi pidichufy each other. I assume you weren't joking in the last post and I want to tell you that this naradar velai is unwarranted. Nobody is out to fix IR's image. If there is a fault among the anti-IR posters(the ones that I really count, not the ARR Fans of this world) , it is that they are set in a certain belief which runs contrary to their professed objective(or objectivity:))).
  It might take me months to convince them about this but I am certainly not going to brand them . I would rather believe in my abilities to invoke logic. In any case, IP is out of this forum and wont be back for atleast a year. As a personal request,Spare him of your vitriol..I mean, you are wasting it:)))
  
  (LBNL, I am happy you admire IR, but it would be much better if we avoid expressions like "Mogarayai peyarthufy"(Arent you JilJilrani?). It undoes all the hard work people like me and srinath put in. Just ponder on this)

  so, what is the output of pages and pages of arguments? that KK sucks?? those who said KK sucks, please raise ur hand, go to the right side and listen to IR's latest album rajasthan. it will be the perfect glucose for u all.. the album apparently is horrible.
  those who say KK doesn't suck, please raise ur hand, go to the left side and enjoy kaadhalar dhinam, both are similar in style and quality..

  raj,before making comments please listen to monisha en monalisa songs.they are very very good foot topping
  melodies.tr is a very very good music director.all though the songs are not of padaiapa standard they are very very better then
  chinna dorai and kadal kavidai songs.you know how much casetes album is sold already.you say we people are fools only to buy tr album.
