  Listen to "Kannathil Muthamittal" by Jachandran & chinamaye in the Tamil version and now listen to
  
  "Ye Devi Varamu” by SPB in the Telegu version of "kannathil muthumitaal".
  
  You will clearly find the uniqueness of SPB! Chinamauye , that 18 year old girl, done a great job!, good luck 2 her.

  SPB's version is good. But i liked Jayachandran's version as well.
  Thank god, ARR didn't ask some half-baked singer with a penchant for tamil_Kolai for this number...
  BTW, the girl's name is not China mauye...

  Reg KM, the songs are apt to the movie but BGM really sucks!!! People( HCARRF ) may come out and say ARR did comparatively good job. Oh! yeah! If u compare his previous movies, this would be a better one. But, for this type of movie, the BGM should have been great that brings out all the emotions.pch... What to say??!!In some scenes, director too did a pretty bad job. Especially in the climax, the girl reads out all the questions that had been written on a paper!!!!???? I accept that mani got the story line from a true incident and this had happened. But, he didn't take the same story as such, right? he had modified the story and added these LTTE stuffs( to make it to sell... ). So, what could be wrong in taking that scene in a more natural indian ( or in EELAM ) way??? That scene lacks some life and neither the BGM brings life to that scece. Mani should have made audiences to cry but he miserably failed in that. The same way, the way madhavan tells his daughter the truth!!! Horrible direction!!! IMHO, mani should have made this movie still a lot better!!!!!

  Why should Madhavan tell Amudha that she is not his real daughter but adopted ?
  
  Every now and then Amudha leaves the house alone, first to perambur, next to Rameswaram. Can any child at her age first know how to go to Rameswaram. She will be stopped first by the bus conductor and handed over to police. Absolutely no correlation and dumb.
  
  Amudha is keen to see her mom but finally when she sees her she shows no emotion nothing. Walks away happily with Madhavan leaving her mom.

  yes! a 9 year old child from my school went to nellai from madras. A 14 year old boy went to dellhi from madras in train. That too he said he hung outside the door on the 3rd staircase when the ttr came.

  I recently read that sushma chose Devadoss and Taal over adoors mallu movie quoting that she wanted to promote 'good' cinema and not 'art' cinema. I cant say devadoss is a bad one or good one but andha story idhuvaraikkum 4 dhadavai eduthaachu. Beautiful artistes and colorful costumes will not make it a good cinema:)
  namma tamizh naatiliye eduthukkongaLen, all the stalwarts says that azhagi and kaasi are recent good movies. KM pathi yaarume mention panradhillai. Maybe azhagi is a good movie(i have not seen it) but kaasi? 10 nimisham paarthu veruthu poitten. blind hero(adhuvum azhu azhunnu azhudhu vijayakumari,sowcar janaki levelle azharaaru), sick mom, deaf and dumb lover, alcoholic father..how more depressing can a movie be?:)
  I feel there is a bias against MR in our own Tamil film industry.
