Sandiyar renamed as Virumandi and cassette released

The most awaited sandiyar album is released .I heard all the songs.It has totally ten songs out of which 6 songs are sung by kamal himself and two are sung by illayaraja and 2 numbers by shreyaghosal.All the songs are perfect folk and 100% traditional tamil folk songs and the lyrics are excellent in the madurai slang and all are situational songs.I will meet u again with a detailed review.buy the album immediately for die-hard fans of IR

  When did actors and artists become social messiah?
  This article is just another rabble rousing desperate attempt to garner cheap publicity by nitpicking on a celebrity's personal preferences. So what if Kamal likes only a Brahmin writer like sujatha or SRamasamy? Isn't ours a free country?
  Haven't many Tamil Brahmins switched their film music loyalty from MSV to IR ?
  Even a child would say that wherever the bottom line is economics, there is bound to be non bigotism. It is this Thinnai article which is mischievous, proving the adage "Thinnai pechu verum vetti pechu"

  A recent report in 'Chennaionline.com' says the 'karumathur kattukulle'song has been edited out of the movie bcoz it was taking up a lot of screen time.Guess kamal does not want to give the audience(looking for entertainment only) an opportunity to get bored.

  A poet from thirumangalam kannan has said that in 1998 he used a singer called Muthulakshmi &released a 1hr Villupattu cassette on the history of virumandi&now the same has been shortened to a 13 min song 'Karumathur Kattukkulle'&credited to Muthulingam.He obviously wants credit on the cassette&Money.

  seems that "the chair of oppression & suppression" would never vanish; only the set of people who tame on it and trying to tame on it changes over period of time. earlier it used to be the ignorant brahmins and now its the so called "aindhaam varnaththavan", earlier seeing/touching or associating with aindhaam varnaththavan was considered as theettu and now seeing/touching or associating with brahmin is theettu.

  Surprised to note that some vague and remote writer in some obsolete page can evoke strong response. This a victory for Kuzhambilini. Story and contents are same like Pamaranin kaditham, Chinna kuththoosi, solai etc.

  You're right. This article was timed so beautifully to coincide with all the hype for Virumaandi. I'm sure 'thinnai' has attracted more readers for this one article than for any of it's other. And then they have the nerve to say Kamal is an opportunist. Ahh the irony.

  This stupid vijay kanth should stop thinking too much about himself. If he acts like a normal hero, his movies will atleast run for a while.. If he thinks he is the super hero (all that gimmics projecting himself as the saviour of the country, preaching the politicians and all that crap) he will soon disappear from TFM. I hope he will realize that atleast now.
  
  I am sure sandiyar will be a good movie but we don't know how our public will receive it. Usually kamal's serious movies are not commercially doing well (e.g anbe sivam, hey ram, aalavandhan). At least indha padathayaavadhu thanakku mattum pudicha madhiri edukkaama, ellarukkum pudicha maadhiri eduthu iruppar endru nambuvom!
