new copied tune of deva

music copier deva has copied a gana song from an music album released by a chennai based company called Indian records. He copied a song from that album in movie vallarasu. the song stars as adayaru beach voram in the movie this is a xerox copie of the song unakkaga aathoram in the album gaana special released by the prevoiusly named comapny.

  Suggested Plan of Action:
  
  1. BB creates a page called Asalum Nagalum
  
  2. We form a fairly objective and more important a knowledgeable group of experts to which a case of copuy is prsented with evidence. Sridhar Seetharaman, Srikanth, Rjay, Sashi,...and I can be part of this 'vimarisana kuzhu'. The song will be determined a copy if 3 members of the group conclude so.
  3. The tekkies (Vijay, BB, MS, Srikanth,....) get together and post excerts from the original and the duplicate once a copy is established. I am saying excerpts because (especially for western originals) we do not want to deal with copyright issues. I think loading relevant parts of a song for discussion within the purpose of the page will not create a legal issue.
  
  4. We can invite the attention of the original and duplicate recording company to visit the site or the relevant segment. That way we have taken a step towards informing the right people and yet, do not come across as a group which wants a downfall of somebody.
  
  Ground Rules (to consider):
  1. No MD is above the law
  2. For starters we will present/discuss only cases where the duplicate is TFM and the original is non-Indian. Presenting copies of TFM <-->HFM is fun, but useless in terms of any consequence. Presenting non-Indian --> HFM is outside the scope of this forum, but maybe considered for the Forum Hub.

  song title Enemies Deva just copied the pallavi,Drum pattern, bass patern,chord work and if u guys not sure the song was copied pls listen the song carefully in main part and ending part Alban voice sound like this bambh.. bambh.. bambh...in the song ...

  Deva is No:1 when it comes to copying. But
  what about others like SAR and the whiz kid
  ARR ?
  
  Whiz Kid's Chayya Chayya is a blatant lift
  from some sufi song and the ironic part is
  whiz kid could manage to get Andrew LIoyd
  Webber impressed with that song to the extent
  that they are working together now !
  
  My point is when we are so much upset with
  Deva about copying, we should not spare
  the ones like ARR who are also doing the same
  thing but in a more sophisticated way. Worse
  still ARR gets furious when he is questioned
  about copying.
  
  Iam sure some people will pounce on me for
  dragging ARR's name into copying but I believe
  that ARR has also profited immensely by copying.
  For MSV fans, ARR has copied 2,3 MSV tunes

  once wrote an article about Deva in Hindu and in that he described the composing session of Deva
  and when Deva sings a tune, the director was
  impressed. The moron DSR calles it melodious.

  That shakalaka baby is a straight lift from a Spanish album. ARR calls its inspiration. The Vellai mazhai from Roja from Kraft Werk, Killathae Killathae in Gentleman from Osibisa's Hileley hileley, otagathai katigo from a Raja's song in thirumathi pazhanisami ... The list is never ending. Raja too has lifted from Sounds of Music for a couple of films. The one known open secret is "Darling..." in Priya, which he says the producer insisted on.

  I recenty listened to Kadhaar Thinam album. Has anyone noticed the simiarity of the tune in the song ARR's " Roja Roja" in Kadhaar Thinam to MSV's "Tum he Rasa" - hindi song in Varumaiyin Niram Sivappu.

  I think chappa chappa itself sounds dangerously similar to "Moodikko moodikko kaNNa moodikko" from RojAvai kiLLAthey Stg. Arjun sarja & Kushboo. I think MD for this movie is Maragathamani.

  ARR didn't leave thiruppukaz (Lit on Lord Murukan). The song "Vetrik kodi kattu" from padayappa uses the same meter of "Muthai tharu Pathi".

  IMO, only the first few lines' santham of "naan paarththathilE" has been used inputhu maappilaikku. In fact we can easily sing "outhu maappilaikku nalla yOgamada antha maNAmgaL thaan vantha nEramada" in the tune of " naan paarththathilE avaL oruththiyaithaan nalla azagi enbEN nalla azagi enbEn" or voce versa.
