to score music for movies?

  My best music director is ILAYARAJA. He composes situationally very nice and melodiously. ARR's music sometimes good and sometimes very bad and loudly noise. But Raja's music is very soft and melodious. RAJA IS RAJA FOR EVER". I admired a lot to listen his music

  Please do not compare IR with ARR. ARR is worked and learn lot composing tricks how to prepare notice about music and how composing as fast. As truly say that IR is like guru to ARR. ARR is also very good music director not than Ir. IR is a very discipline and dedicated in Music than ARR. NO ONE BEAT IR. IR IS ALWAYS IR. HE GIVES A VERY VERY GOOD MUSIC. ESPECIALLY I WAITING TO HEAR A VERY GOOD MUSIC FROM HIM IN ESPECIALLY IN TELUGU INDUSTRY. IR DEFINATELY CONTINUE IN TELUGU AND TAMIL INDUSTRY. HE HAS A LOT OF MUSIC SENSE.

  Please don't compare Illaiyaraja with ARR or any music directors.Raja Sir is popularly known as "King of Melodies".(i think everyone will accept me?)I love his variety of interlude music and offcourse his tunes and also the Background score.Those who are really interested in Music will appreciate his work.He is "The Maestro".No doubt about it.And I like to hear more film music from him and also Symphonies.

  Dear Friends,
  Can anyone justify that somebody could match the background score rendered by our RAJA in films like "Azhagi", "Sethu", "Ramanna", "Solla Marandha kadhai", which were released just in the past 2 years? It is 100% sure that there are no substitutes for his BGM score itself. So inorder to give life to a film through his BGM, IR should compose music. Expecting PIDHAMAGAN and SANDIYAR only for the BGM.

  Dear friends,
  this mail of mine is not related whether sri.ilaiyaraja garu shoudl continue or not. but he will always be my role model even though my field is researcher.
  for me he is like another newton. newton was the son of a farmer without any exposure to science as there was no scientist or learned men in his lineage to learn from. the same is applicable to IR, may be in a different field.
  so there should be no doubt for us that such a magnanimous personality should continue scoring for movies.

  I am originally from India, a musician in the Tamil music / orchestra scene before migrating to australia in 1986. I do not play much these days but I am the most sought after Sound Engineer for any Indian functions / concerts in Melbourne. In my opinion but for a very few no real Melodies have been composed since Ilayaraja faded away. I had the privilidge of meeting him in 1983/4 and those memories still live on. I have engineered his brother amaran's concert in melbourne and hope and pray that Melbourne will have the privilidge to witness Ilaiyaraja's live performance one day. Long live Ilaiyaraja's music!!!!!
