that is the best list so far... (subjectively:-) esp. for nilavai paarthu vAnam sonnathu, poo mudippAL(i thought it was from pachchai viLakku) , isai kaettal puvi, paattum naane, viLakke nee koNada.. Thanks a bunch for the uploads!

I have put 12 songs sung by KJY in the early part
of his TFM career.. in the 60's. I don't think
KJY sang any other song in the 60's in TFM.

Long live KJY. You know, this is SUCH a coincidence. This morning, while I was driving to work, I was listening to a tape of KJY singing carnatic music and wondering how much the music world in general owes him for his voice and his contribution. I came into office and saw these messages in the thread. I went into the TFM Audio page and found a link to a page commemorating his work. And now I am listening to some of his best songs in TFM from that page. He is truly UNIQUE.

then how come the singer is awake(mayakkam...therefore he should faint) and speaking(mounam...having not learnt a word, how is it possible to sing)???

Yes I do agree. If not, for these lines....

"Naanae Enakku Pahai Aanaen", the guy will start
slapping himself and beat himself up...
"En Nadaghathil Naan Silai Aanaen" people will throw rotten tomato and egg on him....

So, I settle down imagining these are things the hero wants to happen, to divert away himself from his misery, as Ramki, Ranga and SK mentioned.

I have relocated to CA. I am tied up by busy schedules with my new project. It wouldn't be before a few months that i would be in a position to revamp my uploads. Until then i will continue to enjoy the songs that you guys are uploading.
