  hi balaji,
  the rule is only in the computer labs in our dept. some of us have computers which are used exclusively by us and our group alone and in that luckily we can download anything. that's how i listen to all the songs. mathapadi, i can listen to only realplayer 4 songs and winamp songs in the computer lab :((( there are a few sites like ramaswamy gireesan's and mail-bag.com which are still realplayer 4 based. u can listen to songs from those sites.

  Continuing my several hours of listenin to IR songs (my weekends vanish this way) at various sites now i am a Mail-bag and listening to Manam Virumbuthey Unnai songs. Tears are continuing to flow in my eyes as my mind is searching for answers as how this kind of music is ever possible.

  I told you, I record from CDs. I do not find even a bit of noise when I do it from a CD. Infact the songs of Sindhubhairavi are getting encoded as I am typing this. It is relatively a piece of cake and quality wise very much superior. You can expect the songs of Sindhubhairavi soon on my page.

  That's funny. I had gone in there but thought that the MDK songs were tamil and went to the tamil link. Then only now did I realize that it must have been Malayalam. Sorry for the trouble.

  Chirakaattikkili is in "My Dear Kuttichatan - part 2". Many people say that the song is good, great, etc... but the song is not simply great. It is a wonder song. Have you guys seen the movie? What they have done it is added some new clips(new actors/comedians) in the old movie and re-released them. They have also changed the songs. Only the song, but the picturization is the old one only. So our Ilaiyaraaja sir has composed for the old picturization!!!! A person who has not seen the old movie will never be able to know the difference. Only IR can do such magic. Ilaiyaraaja Zindabad!! Ilaiyaraaja Zindabad!!
