CAUTION: Please create good Lyrics and good Tamil Films !!!

Hello all,(Specially to directors and song writers)

I'm a Citizen of India.
I like our culture very much and the welfare of our children community.

But nowadays, the films are becoming worse..
Showing unwanted scenes and very vulgar lyrics...
These represent that the directors and Song writers
dont think about the Youngsters welfare and they just need commercial sales.

I can see many kids singing vulgar lyrics without
knowing what they are singing.

I CANNOT TOLERATE THIS !!!

Please have a look at Pithamagan Film.
it has entertainment but doesnt teach any bad thinkings to youngters.

Today films (so many), like Boys, Thiruda Thirudi, etc ... are high harmful to youngsters community.

Please avoid like these films.

IF NOT , THEN I HAVE TO FORCE ALL DIRECTORS AND SONG WRITERS BY STRONGLY COMMENTING THEM IN FORUMS.

Remember: Prevention is better than Cure !!!

  Oh people, I think it would be easier if the movies had ratings on em... ya know like Rated-G for general audiences, and lalalala just like the hollywood movies... maybe a lil restriction with those "ratings" would come into play in what age group watches what... but if you think about it... most of the tamil movies would rate upto Pg-13 or R.

  thamil movie dont even come close to R....not even PG-13 sumtimes. They are more of PG and PG-13.Like Boys would be a PG-13.

  But¡KHe is not supposed to watch MTV or sing in English or in Tamil-English. Irony-- you might say. Hypocrisy--I might say. But the fact is it is REALITY.
  
  Films cannot portray a non-existent culture. It can only reflect the culture. So, I wonder why the yardstick used for film is different from the CURRENT culture.
  
  You only have to read a newspaper or Tamil magazine to get an idea of the society we live in but yet films are supposed sugarcoat all these problems and show it glossy. Hello!!! Where are the critics???
  
  What is music to ears is noise to me and vice a versa. There is no one to blame. Certainly not the western world, MTV etc¡K You have the choice to reject the film outright and that is THE most important power in your hand. You cannot impose something you think is right on the directors and lyricist. . BTW, even Kannadasan was accused of writing titillating lyrics. This is the nature of beast (films). The only right we have is the choice.
  
  Does this mean Directors and lyricist stand vindicated from this issue? Personally, I don¡¦t think so. What is happening nowadays is pretty bad filmmaking--It just suks big time. Period. This is altogether a different topic so I won¡¦t go there.
  
  Protector, you gave Boys as a bad example. I agree it is a bad film but not for the reason you might be thinking. I loved, laughed, enjoyed the prostitute scene; rest of the movie just bored me to death. The problem with Boys is, it is approved under U category ¡Vmeaning family film, when it probably should have been in ¡§A¡¨ category. But I concur we need a better rating system and make Parents aware of the rating system. So, go petition the censor board. If you do, let me know, I will be happy to join you.

  Ok so there arent many movies that come close to R, but PG-13, 14 `15 could be used as a rating... Most of the movies with Vijay, Ajith usually have some violent fight sequences, and sometimes a traumatic "flashback"... I wouldnt want my 5 yr old niece or 7 yr old nephew watching that movie... I know some lil kiddos are so fond of thse types of movies and its pretty scarey...
  
  One thing I did notice... Ayngaran dvd's and vcd's usually has a tiny red sticker indicating the rating.. usually movies are rated for older than 15 yrs of age

  those rating r very funny like aalavandhan was 18+ same with Khaka Khaka i think 13-15+ is fine. Yes I agree with curryleaf that they should make a better rating system cuz th eone they have in india realli sux.cuz if aalvandhan is adults only and boys is family.....aalvandhan coulda been reduced to 15+ and boys shoulda been raised to 13+.

  What do you people think about the cencor board went to theathres showing p. saravan and jai and and arrested some people working at the theatre because they showed uncensored verion of songs?
  
  Does India have speech of freedom?

  they did the right thing cuz they censored the movie and it should be played the way it was censored....but then again the censorship is nto suppose to cut out stuff,in hollywodd wat they do is tell u wat needs to be taken out to meet a certain rating, but if u want everything in it ull have a higher rating.
  
  for example:
  if u u se the f word more then once it goes from PG-13 to R it is allowed only once before it gets bumped to R.

  Hey I'm a cool guy from bangalore. Oh man !! *Boys* has been a sensational hit here in bangalore. Every gal and every guy must have watched the movie atleast three times. And well this doesn't mean tht it teaches some bad cultures. Indian cultures r always bad and boring. I admire it sometimes but if u sit down and think bout it. Indian culture has a lot of disadvantages 2. I'll tell u how in the next mail

  Thanx Mani. i think u understood me.
  Even though the Film Directors and Lyrics Writers doesnt have love and affection to young community, if the Censor Board was strict, the releasing movies will be having correct rating which will surely prevent accidental bad movies being watched by an innocent family.
  
  i'm talking only about innocent families. please dont talk the one who takes everything simple(not knowing that this will bring bad things to their children in future)
  
  i dont know how many will believe in my fair thoughts.
  
  In today world, Movies play a vital role in daily entertainment in our life. Every children want to see some movies for entertainment. so atleast if some movies are too good and having fun which will give good educational thoughts and this is what i want.
  
  The worst thing i saw in Boys film was, in the trailer , they had the shaking of the bed scene.
  trailer scenes affects soo much in kids and youngsters, which i have seen practically.
  
  Please to all Directors, Dont think something like, this scene is bravely directed by me.(like one in Ranganadhan st in Boys).
  Take good scenes. There are lot of things which can grow knowledge and fun at the same time.
  
  Really i dont care about Hindi films. their life started in to bad track. but not Tamils. but we are in trouble line.
  
  All the people of Tamil Nadu or the Government should check the validity of Tamil Nadu Movies Censor Board. whether they are working correctly or not.if not they should be severely warned.
  
  i dont know how to complain about Tamil Nadu Censor Board to Government. anyone can help ??
  They are doing heavy damage to kids and younsters unknowingly. They must be corrected.
