  Thats true Amitabh does duet with heroine somewhat match his age unlike Rajini who has picked an 18 year old. Yes I agree, there is plenty of scope for Rajini to play hero roles like Amitabh's Kakee, KKKK etc..I would probably agree with the roles he did in Padaiyappa since the second half he acts his age. But Baba he acted 25 year old..In Chandramugi another big mistake with younger role. He should understand his limitations and play a role which does justice to his age and look.

  Vazhippokkan, you should compare rajini with MGR and not Sivaji.. MGR would have never acted as a father or an uncle and so is Rajini.. Though he is old, he still has stuff.. However, unless the movies has some serious stuff, it won't run.. I am glad that Rajini has realized that.. I too wish Rajini chose a different director other than P.Vasu.. in fact, it's not too late.. Will he?

  btw, can anyone seen that p vasu's kannada film that chandramukhi is suppsoed to be inspired from? ..i really thought P vasu was kinda over the hill..though mannan was a very good combo its been more than a decade now!..hope he doesnt scru it up..it was an odd choice by rajini after considering everyone from Teja, Hari to Dharani and trusted KSR and Sureshkrissna..hmm..parpom!

  I think P.Vasu was Prabhu's choice more than Rajini's... though the media says that it was Rajini's decision.. Suresh krishna is supposed to be a better director than P.Vasu but even he messed up Baba big time! I didn't like the way P.Vasu directed 'Cheenu' (a remake from a malayalam film) his last tamil movie...except for Vivek's part which was kind of okay but again that was his own script.

  ayyA chO! This film - "inspired" from that malayalam movie - was made into a kannada movie directed & scripted by P. Vasu.
  
  Prabhu and Ramkumar already bought the rights for tamil for that film, and also discussions had begun with P VAsu for screenplay in tamil - with Prabhu as the lead role actor.
  
  It was ONLY after all this much progress had ben made - enter our suuper starr! He then messd up the whole story to suit his own "likes".
  
  So Rajini could not complain about P. Vasu - it was he who came after that project was started by Sivaji films with Prabhu in lead role.
  
  If you guys r not happy - fine! ask rajini to Produce it under his own banner, and have suresh krishna or any other xyz to direct it!
  
  Whats the big deal? is rajini afraid to produce his own film?!! ;=))

  All Rajini Fans were strictly warned by Sathyanarayana - NOT to come to the reception given to Aishwarya - Dhanush marriage on Nov. 20th.
  
  Some 15 Fans turned up at the venue it seems; rajini, after seein them standing outside got enraged - and asked sathyanarayana to immediately thro them away from the venue!!!
  
  Sathyanarayana - utilised the security persons and police and evicted thos persons - from rajini fans clubs in chennai!!
  
  Lots of chennai rajini fans clubs are absolutely devastated becoz of this incident.
  
  Cadres from Political parties are making fun of rajini fans in chennai - by mockin at them :
  
  "ennappA kannungala!! ungala ulliyE vida koodathunnu - unga thalaivaru adichi thurathittangalame! hmmmm.. nenga ellAm rowdy pasanga-nu unga thalaivarukkE therinjirukkuppA!!!"
