What Caused ARR\'s Downfall...

I was really impressed when Roja came out and I kept looking out for such impressive release after that. But to date, so far non of his film has any impact of Roja. There may be some good ones along the way but that I can get it from other TFM MDs. It\'s really disappointing that he has never matched any song compared to Chinna Chinna Aasai. For the last 7 years or so I keep yearning but to no avail. So many of his albums are of mediocre level. I really would like to know what caused ARR\'s downfall?

1) Trying too much in other fields and ignoring Tamil films?
2) Trying to fuse in too much western pop/rock and making listeners irritated?
3) Trying to be both Mozart and Michael Jackson of India?
4) Using so many different singers and not having any identity?
5) Again infusing too many English words to make it more hype?
6) Concentrating alot on sound quality and not giving importance to musical quality?
7) Or just limited talent?

It\'s really heart-ching to see someone I used to like go down like that.

  Secondly it was not against you, it was against people who use bad slang, including RS, whom i requested not to use bad slang.

  Thanks for that. I was ignoring most part of the responses for some months... but it becomes little tired when everything goes out of control, so I tried making fun of his comment instead of personal attack or verbal abuse.
  
  I STRONGLY dislike the verbal abuse thats going on even though its Rajsarnam or V (both had a big verbal abuse research on one occassion which is rare for those two guys).

  see vatsa it is IR fans who start first......i'm positive abt it.. speaker started this problem...y shuldn't i like both IR and ARR.......is there anything wrong?????...... i place ARR much higher bcos this guy came up in the music industry against a huge IR-backlash......threads get started accusing ARR of unheard things...... what abt. this thread...... BOYS has been one of the gr8 successes(audio) in the past 2 yrs. and they come up with a thread like this..... there is no end to this problem and i'll keep accusing IR and his crappy rural music..... and speaker,other IR fans will keep complaining abt.   See maddy, anyone can start a thread with any name. Its their own perception that ARR is coming down and its ur perception that ARR is going up or still retaining his place. If you provide some points which are FACTS and not a fiction everyone is going to accept it. thats what forum is for. If you give some kind of a non-sense repeatedly without accepting others argument, I dont see any problems with people making fun of the response.

  Yes I agree that I flipped out at the b*astard usage. But it was not meant to belittle anyone's birth legitimacy but to say rudely and agreely that someone is a typical ass*hole (mean fellow). Other than this I did not have any motive.

  I meant the incident you mentioned V (which is a research about a word of abuse). Since this is a response which is typed (its not like when you talk where you could accidentally say a harsh word), you could have revised what you said. I find it a rush of blood, though it may not be intentional. So I think its better to avoid those. I hope we have some kind of a healthy discussion from now on.

  Agree to all above + people have mistaken him as a composer. He's not. He is a MD. Anyone clown can be one. Apart from SAR, Deva, etc., isn't there enuf proof when sabesh+murali entered as MDs?
  ARR is very interested to impress the youngsters and the hype crowd. He's not cut out to write musical notations for orchestra especially for film recordings. He should work in private albums and release pop songs only.
