  Have u guys heard of a song called "Oru Kaditham ezhuthenin" from the film DEva (Vijay & Sanghavi), music by Deva, such an ordinary song by Deva, which SPB takes to the maximum enchancement, that is the beauty of SPB :)

  i still don't understand one thing Raghu...
  what makes this tune['oru kaditham'] average?i think it is way ahead of other songs tuned by Deva.
  if u notice one point this is one song in which the orchestration flows smoothly without abrupt and unwarranted changes.this is a feature that u miss in most of Deva's songs.
  no doubt SPB was extraordinary in this song.

  If Rafi had more clones that SPB according to, then, how does Rafi become unique, as many can immitate him, according 2 u, u said only mano tries hard to imitate SPB, so according to your statement SPB has one initator, while Rafi has many, so this makes SPB more unique than Rafi, hence greatest :)

  You make statements by coming to your own conclusions and then try to make them become a fact. The fact that Rafi has more clones than anyone proves that most singers want to be like him. It does NOT mean they can sing like him. Those are two completely DIFFERENT things. I said Mano is an imitator of SPB but he also has his own style...therefore he is not a total SPB clone. Having many clones would probably be considered one of the greatest honours a singer can have since you have many singers trying to emulate your style. The fact that many singers try to imitate Rafi shows how great his singing style was. If you have less clones it does not mean you are unique, it just means that not many singers try to sing in your style and try and emulate you, it doesn't mean no one can emulate you. If a young batsman imitates Tendulkar's style, it would be a tribute and an honour to Tendulkar that a batsman wants to try and copy his style because they admire his batting and want to be like him. If others don't try and bowl in Srinath's style it doesn't make Srinath unique, its just that no one wants to emulate his style. What makes one unique is his skill and art and not how less of clones one has. As Jayachandran also said, that if there's one singer's name that he would give advice to a young singer to emulate in style, it would be Rafi.
  And may i ask why you are bringing up this topic again. Didn't the postings of st and janardhan and others make you open up your mind more if you didn't want to believe me.
