Ajay Devgan and Vivek Oberoi can’t stop raving about the songs of Mani Ratnam’s Yuva. “A.R. Rahman and Mani Sir and dynamite together,” says Vivek on the sets of Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria’s Masti, and adds, “The six songs Rahman has recorded for the film are mind-blowing.”

Ajay Devgan, his co-star in Yuva and Masti, uses the same words to describe them. Incidentally, when the film was launched earlier this year, Mani Ratnam had decided not to have a single song in it.

Vivek also feels that Abhishek Bachchan’s is the best role and best performance in the film. “That guy’s career will take off in a big way after Yuva,” predicts Vivek.

  One song in Ayusu Yelasu copied taaap to baaatum from french singer Mylene Farmer' album "Beyond My Control." (seems like the ablum prepared for Rahman yonly. Beyond My Control Caapying Caapying in the dead of the night.)
  
  Rahman, what is this I say? Even French bollywood singer Pascal Heni refuses to sing your saangs, why? because ur too contemporary.

  I am a great fan of IR ... ppl say that im biased towards Ilkayaraja's music , but htats not without reason... to accept things, yes i try to find fault with ARR the first time i hear his songs ... not a good thig this being biased, but thats the way I am.
  
  I did not like his Boys album or E20U18 stuff - the latter i found to be extremely unRahmanish ... but Aitha Ezhuthu has chaged my opinion in a huge way ... the album is really good, and I love the "Yakkai thiri" and "Jana gana Mana" songs ... some excellent lyrics by Vairamuthu and good orchaestration by ARR gives the magic ... and Rahman has come with a gem this time (In my opinion forthe first time) ... surely expectations are going to be more in the future!

  saw Meenaxi yesterday.......what a movie......excellent music,visuals,gr8 script.......i think ppl. need to support such movies by going to theatres.......but the most disturbing thing abt. the movie was that i got a fear that ARR may soon fly out of my boundaries of comprehension.......he is heading somewhere which i can't understand....

  Hey guys..did you check out the pic. from "Yuva" in "The Hindu" today???It has Ajay Devgan & Vivek Oberoi..in an Assembly...supposedly Bhopal Assembly..both of 'em playing MLA's it seems...I've always known tht Ajay Devgan becomes a politician in the film...Vivek Oberoi also being one is news to me!!!!Tht means Siddarth is a MLA in AE...hmm dunno hows tht gonna look:)...Besides these 2 men ...there's one more guy...I think it is tht Karthik guy from "Vaanam Vasapadum"..am not too sure though...but then I remember reading the name Karthik in one of the cast listings...And another thing...the shooting of this scene was taken y'day it seems!!!!And I thought the complete schedule of shooting was over!!!!

  It is already released in Singapore. All shops has it. But not much hype here after the indifferent songs in U18E20, which was dissappointing for many ARR fans. Hopefully he does better in Ayutha Ezhuthu

  And as for Shaam,
  Mani would have to be in a totally insane phase to pick him. He's the most pathetic actor i've seen! I saw him in real life along w/ a whole bunch of other actors. Maddy was there too.. even if he can or cannot act, he's got his own USP. Charm. He's got loads of it. But Shaam, the guy was doing his second film and he was already throwing tantrums. If Vasanth had noticed all this b4 shooting, he'd have been shown the door w/o a second thought.
