By punch dialogues ,i did not mean dialogues i did not mean " nana vetiyana illa ....mirugam " like dialogues ,but dialogues with just 5-6 words which give spower to the character .....

Talking abt the similarities between fil character and real-life character...
in your ooru('u' or 'e')..was the a hero who can fly high, fight 10 ppl at one time, can be shot but won't die before killing the villain, who will meet a terrible car accident, but no scars will be seen after 10 days?.....are there any?

Paran and Mumbai Ramki,
watch the visuals carefully b4 coming to judgements. there r many scenes i had observed when they show Sithan talking with others but it is silenced with BGM. this clearly indicates that sithan is not a dumb guy but he doesnt talk much thats all. and to retain the viewing curiousity Bala had not given him any dialogues which we can hear. but again i clearly say Sithan does talk in the movie with others.
nanethan, no this is not the first movie there is scene in Kizhakum merkum where they paly ARRs song in the BGm.

Nane Thaan - i saw a movie starring Kushboo and Jeyaram - in which the song "Hummaa, Hummaaa" from bombay will be played in a red light area in bombay..... the films music is by IR (had a wonderful song - KOOTil chinna koogilaam erandu)

Elangaathu Veesuthe ...is an amazing melody . Sriram Parthasarathy has sung it exceedingly well. 'Thirunelveli Halwa daa...' paadina aala itha paadinaaraa nnu aachariyamaa irukku. On repeated listenings, the songs stanzas remind me of some old IR songs. infact..sila yedathula it reminds of Kaathaluku Mariyaathai's "Aiyya Voodu Theranthu thaan kedakku..'' in a slower tempo. Comments ???

ARR's song 'Chinna Chinna Aasai" comes in Valli, the heroine Priya Raman explicitly plays it in guitar, when along with friends.
HJ's "ivan yaaro.." from Minnale comes in Ramana,
when Vijaykaanth goes to theatre to receive a floppy.

Our Isaignani made it.. Atlast Mani realised what this man is capable of... But i have ever heard Mani bad mouthing about Isaignani.. Its all Balachander, the head strong guy talks bad about Raja.In his interview for Frontline once he told that the whole world was beleiving noone can achieve like Ilayaraja, but what happened now, he is nowhere... I condemened that words,, but surprisingly there were no condemns against that from great Isaignani fans around the world.K.B is a great director... but he went places only bcoz of Raja.. Noone can name, atleast a single movie of K.B that had a national acclaim without Raja's music. The days to come when BR,KB and Mani are going to get back to Raja. Those days are not that far... I would say Karuthamma, Kannathil Muthamittal are the movies really deserve Raja's music.. But what to say?

Ilayaraja may be good. But dont dream of MR or BR going back to the man who thinks he is GNANI or Ultimate. Men may come Men may go but music will be forever.
dont be so emotional and attached towards individuals.
dont try to coverup. like anyother profession they are doing their work, not a divine job. they sell themselves.
KVM MSV IR ARR all are good.

try to make real good analysis of movies. Pitha mahan in just another tamil commercial.
no big difference between pitha mahan and boys.
boys shown physical exploitation and here pitha mahan is emotional exploitation. not a sincere movie any art form of film making.

THIS CANNOT be but one long eulogy. Every technician and every actor big and small comes in for commendation for his contribution to Evergreen Movie International's "Pithamagan" the much-awaited flick that has turned out to be a symphony on celluloid. And at the top of it all is its creator Bala.
The king is at it again so keep away folks, says Ilaiyaraja's mesmerising rerecording feast. The captivating numbers vouch for the fact that the Raja reigns supreme.
Even prudes who easily dismiss anything desi should watch the "Pithamagan" in action — because when diligence and intelligence go hand in hand, they deserve to be recognised and lauded.
