Ajay Devgan and Vivek Oberoi can’t stop raving about the songs of Mani Ratnam’s Yuva. “A.R. Rahman and Mani Sir and dynamite together,” says Vivek on the sets of Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria’s Masti, and adds, “The six songs Rahman has recorded for the film are mind-blowing.”

Ajay Devgan, his co-star in Yuva and Masti, uses the same words to describe them. Incidentally, when the film was launched earlier this year, Mani Ratnam had decided not to have a single song in it.

Vivek also feels that Abhishek Bachchan’s is the best role and best performance in the film. “That guy’s career will take off in a big way after Yuva,” predicts Vivek.

  We are fighting one bad review and what about countless flops by IR had they been reviewed, you must have to quit your job and write complaints all the time 24/7.
  Why do you want to bring aparthied into music?
  Afterall both IR and ARR are tamils!

  The point is,still fanatics will try and justify their idols' works somehow.
  IR was fabulous even during 'Hey Ram',but one wonders whether his midas touch was lost in 'Pithamagan'..and we come to the conclusion that movie's theme didn't offer him anything more for the Maestro to work.The same is the case here with Mani demanding youthful score,as he has filled his frames with youth throughout in his latest celluloid creation.The so-called reviewer has not even the basic knowledge to know that it is a soundtrack of a film,and the commander here is the Dir.
  You Ambleen try to justify it....ask me settle scores with Hindu reviewer...well you urself go and settle scores with ppl who described Rahman as Mozart of East,and to Simi who asked that Q to Rahman,why you want to trouble these poor souls here who can't match your divinely sense of music,which you got straight from Dept of music,Heaven.
