Ajay Devgan and Vivek Oberoi can’t stop raving about the songs of Mani Ratnam’s Yuva. “A.R. Rahman and Mani Sir and dynamite together,” says Vivek on the sets of Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria’s Masti, and adds, “The six songs Rahman has recorded for the film are mind-blowing.”

Ajay Devgan, his co-star in Yuva and Masti, uses the same words to describe them. Incidentally, when the film was launched earlier this year, Mani Ratnam had decided not to have a single song in it.

Vivek also feels that Abhishek Bachchan’s is the best role and best performance in the film. “That guy’s career will take off in a big way after Yuva,” predicts Vivek.

  I just saw DEV by A.Bachan. Very nice movie. But the point I want to say is go and see this movie as to how the songs apparently not sung by the characters but are needed for the situation are sung nicely, choreographed well, picturized aptly and lyrically clear. Then watch AE again and compare. You will then know the difference.

  Govind nihlani is an old man, MR can definetly learn from him.
  RK is older than MR, RK can teach MR how to make good/strict commercial movie.
  I think MR should have cut the "aalap" part in Sadaikoli, he must have had Meera singing like "Pattikattu Inba neyoo padikatha methai...." or "Sura meenu vangivantha Inbaiyaa"

  Songs in AE slightly out of place-a theriyardhu is normal. The film wasn't supposed to have any songs! But then paattu kaetta appuram, who would complain?! :-)

  i finally thanks to A.R.RAHMAN that whether the film is gone somewhere but A.R.RAHMAN is done his job to the little bit of success.i gave him a lot of thanks for his credit in aayutha eluthu and i also hear the NEW film it is also very nice SO A.R.RAHMAN IS VERY BRILLIANT.
