  I am preety sure that Rajini will not announce his film anytime soon. It would be right after Virumandi releases because he thinks that his announcement can affect his friend Kamal's film publicity. He would announce right after Pongal.

  Idiot! If you ever tinker with systems, you'll know that '*' is a wildcard for any expression of any length, hence the nick. Besides, much better to be anonymous and talk sense rather than gain notoriety as a known fool who doesnt know what he's doing.
  
  Ridiculous comparisons. The number of movies Vikram has done can be counted off with ease. He is still finding his bearings and in no way is he different from Rajini's early days(1975-82) where he did countless non-stereotypical roles. Superstardom came to him only after close to a decade in the industry and that effectively crippled his creativity. Hope you have heard of the great movies of the late 70s. In fact, most of his roles in the pre-stardom era were similar to Prakash Raj's characterisations.
  Just wait till Vikram/Prakash Raj do as many movies as Rajini do, then you'll know how much potential they have. RK's roles slacked a bit in the 80s but had a mature touch later on.
  
  Forget about the itsy-bitsy stints with PETA, let me not rehash what C~P/Bala/countless others pontificated on Rajini's kind acts off the screen.

  Added to what u said. out of around 120-130 movies Super* has done, around 90% were hits more than 100 day movies..
  
  Another thing when it comes to SUPER* no one need to be brainwashed.. and nobody is bothered about who the MUSIC DIRECTOR is (nothing against anybody), SUPER* movies sell for him nothing else..
  Super* yarrunnu ketta chinna kozhanthayum sollum..
  if you dont live in Tamil Nadu when SUPER* was making movies atleast one a year, nobody can understand it...

  can u please answer the followng for me...
  1) On what basis are u putting Rajni down? Have u seen his earlier movies (pre 90s) or have u just watched things in the 90s? U wudnt mention bring ur 'talent' thingy again if uve watched things pre 90s ... atleast Thalapathi??!
  2) Do u have any knowledge about his offscreen activities? Don't say u dont care, u talk abt Madhavan's charitable thingies!!
  3) Can u say why all the current actors (Kamal excluded) are invariably trying to copy Rajni?? Even ur Vikram had some Rajni touch in Saami, dont go abt denying that!
  4) Why do u think all the stars have words of praises for him? ... Include Vikram in this ... he sed he was an ardent fan of RK and no one can replace him during Saami Vetri Vizha... y shud a fully 'talented' guy talk about a totally 'talentless' person? ... just about anybody in the cine industry does this ... y?
  5) Speaking of down-to-earth acts, do u think any actor wud come and stage and mention about his successor? ... Rajni did! ... mentioned abt Vikram being the next Super Star

  Well said C~P.Thalaivan , Annamalai-la thodaiya thatti sabatham pannuvan paaru, Vikram samilla 10% kooda pannala athu mathiri.Police-na ALex Pandiyan thaaan.... Aruchamy is nowhere near that AlexPandiyan.See the fire when he appears and talks dialogues with senthamarai.

  hey guys i actually have time now to post a long reply had my last exam yesterday so now i can give ya my 2 cents....and i kno how rajini fans love to wait so here it comes =P
  
  *-who says you speak sense?yes i have seen his older work and it does not impress me.i use to like him as a kid(which wasnt long ago) then i grew up and realized hey this guy is gettin boring.=P you said he did variety of roles i didnt see that.even in his ealry work-(unless he was the villain)I think vikram has a lot more talent then him and will top him in the end his saamy beat padiyappa i hear. u said he struggled i dont think there is any big stars in the industry that dont struggle cept d ones who are from cinestar families.....cept maybe manoj lol. and rajini has a lot more money and time on his hands now then do the other cinestars to do charity events am i right?im sure the newbies will do more once they do less movies and have more money.
  
  If rajini alone can carry a film explain Baba lol. that shows u, ya need more then just rajini.

  and if u take my line and put it outta context sure it wont make sense abt fighting is not life.that line was a reference to sum fool who responded sayin that rajini movies are abt life.yes i understand ur expectations of a rajini movie.but i feel they can come with a real story do u not feel so?
  
  1) yes ive seen his work earlier, and thalapathi i dont consider a Rajini movie i consider it a Mani Ratnam movie. After all he brought out talent in little kids (Anjali & KM) im pretty sure he can pull something out of rajini =P but his earlier movies were a lil better...think annamalai was the only one i realli enjoyed, cuz was d only one which had sum logic to wat rajini did or the other characters.
  
  2)umm i think i answer ur comparison to madhavan vs rajini in the above abt charitable activities.
  
  3)Yes there was a little rajini touch in saamy but at least it was done in his own way.i remember vikram for characters like sethu,kasi,king PM that line not his mass movies.at least he gives sum off beat roles eventho he gives mass movies which is one reason i favor him over kamal and rajini.As for the other actors they think that style and wat not is enuff...like rajini did for Baba.
  
  4) do u think if the actors(including vikram) went abt boasting and wat not and sayin rajini sucked they would have as many fans and be liekd as much....i dont think rajini fans are happy with ajith right now
  
  leave that aside, just look at this forum.I have a different opinion of rajini and u come after me saying im a fool and wat not becuz i dont adore him like u guys.kinda like IR fans when i remark abt sumthin i dont like abt IR at times(tho he is good overall-IR that is.)
  
  5) rajini plays politics with everything that was an act to boost his image is one way i see it.and i also see it as a realization of his part that he should educate his fans and teach them that they should like others too.
