  Beautiful eulogies to the charlie chaplin of Tamil cinema,a man beyond his times of whom little is known!!!Sachi skillfully fills in the gaps with his info.Reading your responses took me down memory lane of yesteryears which may not come back,when cinema was a source of clean entertainment,education and awareness.

  Whatever be the lyrics, it takes a joyful personality like chandrababu to make songs like 'rock rock rock' sound ever listenable. (pardon my english ;)).

  Does anybody have information profile/history info of Chandrababu. I heard that MGR had a problem with Chandrababu's popularity etc. I am not sure if this is true. I think these people are very intelligent than being just actors. Does anybody has info ? Whats interesting is these people are never forgotten even after all these decades

  It is crazy sitting here in germany I am thinking of a person who died perhaps 32 years ago !!! Truly artists are the modt blessed of God's creations .The have a way of living even after they die .I wish there were more people who could tell more about this very funny and unique man in Tamil films

  I am an ardent fan of chadrababu too. can anybody forget songs like kunguapoove, thadukkathe, rock rock rock, jigu jigu , pambarakannale...?
  Also I came to know from this thread that Jikki is the co-singer JiguJigu. I doubt it a little bit , since the voice seem to be different. can anybody else clear that..
