Ajay Devgan and Vivek Oberoi can’t stop raving about the songs of Mani Ratnam’s Yuva. “A.R. Rahman and Mani Sir and dynamite together,” says Vivek on the sets of Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria’s Masti, and adds, “The six songs Rahman has recorded for the film are mind-blowing.”

Ajay Devgan, his co-star in Yuva and Masti, uses the same words to describe them. Incidentally, when the film was launched earlier this year, Mani Ratnam had decided not to have a single song in it.

Vivek also feels that Abhishek Bachchan’s is the best role and best performance in the film. “That guy’s career will take off in a big way after Yuva,” predicts Vivek.

  As usual you try to rubbish people's points by coming up with absurd and gross analogies. Your analogy this time too was sick, and so was the bike brand one.
  
  Comeout of the attitude you have and be a sport. If you are a sport people will listen to you and apreciate your opinion when you say you dont like some album.

  when ARR does Melodies like KKS, and to some songs in KV..ppl claim IR is better (well ok..he is better)..
  when ARR turn to youthfulnes like BOYS, E20U18, and now AE..ppl say HJ is better...
  
  but ARR is the one achieving more than these 1 1/2 maestros...(IR ia a maestro..HJ...may be 1/2 loose)....

  Great album! With a fast paced youth oriented type of music with a techno, trance, rave kind of feel. Though I prefer the 'Kangalal Kaidhu Sei' type of music, this is refreshingly new for Tamil films and a welcome addition to the variety we have. Liked 'Yakkai Thiri', 'Nenjam Ellam', 'Jana Gana Mana' and 'Good-bye Nanba' in that order.

  of course this movie will make its way to US all big movies do and even small ones.And plus this is a Maniratnam movie add to that 2 big stars and one big heroine....AND ARRAHMANS MUSIC this movie will be in the US day of the release.

  For the first time in my life, I have made a big mistake... in fact the biggest mistake. What is that.... I bought Ayutha Eyuthu CD thinking it would recreate ARR-MR magic. But none of the songs are appealing.... in fact they are more distressing...... I do not mean to hurt any hard core ARR fan with my statements, but this one is just pathetic. The Rahman of yesteryears is no longer there.

  Now I have started liking almost all the songs of AE.
  
  But ofcourse the songs has less lyrics and more music.
  
  And since these guys want to have the same music in both Yuva and AE, I think there is some compromise made to suit both tamil and hindi audience.
  
  But I think Mani will compensate it with his video.

  I've just seen one trailer on TV. GoodByeNanbha with Trisha and Siddharth looks really cool. Do they show 3 diff trailers on TV for the Tamil thingy too?

  They show all the 3 as one trailor.
  
  Pretty cool... Maddy's the same as Abhishek's. I mean the scenes. Surya's scenes differ. Sidd's scenes are the same.
