  I am curious to find out more regarding your enquiry for finding dealears for distributing cds. Since IR is not compensated for the work, I am assuming that some one else will be releasing the CD?. Who are they?. How the money generated from CDS sales will be managed?. Since this is a public project as it has been mentioned so many times, I would like to understand that part. Could you please explain that part for the benefit of me and others, who have contributed something to this project. If this has been answered already, my apologies. Any pointer to the details would be welcome

  I am glad you had asked this question! Here is the deal!
  As I have been maintainig from the begining[which no one believed !!], this IS a project by us,from us, and of us. I am sort of dubiously proud to say that no big shots have come forward so far embracing this noble effort and it gives me immense pleasure that only people like you and I have made this happen. This is a plus nd minus for the project as the money is very very slow to come and we are currently in RED as far as the project funding is concerned. We still need to raise another 30 to 40 K to pay the artists in Budapest and In NY and it is being made possible only thru loans from, again, thru our well-wishers, not necessarilly IIR fans.
  Having said this, I want to say that only by proper planning and organization, we can make good of the deficits and I am counting on each and everyone of IIR and Tamil fans to make a resolve that they will buy only the original CD and not the MP3 version, no matter what. Even if they download, they will still buy the original CD, I pray.
  To accomplish this huge responsibility, I have this vision:
  The Cd will be made available by me or some one else, on the same day throughout the US and other major countries.
  For this to happen, I am on the look-out for hard core IIR fans and Tamil fans to get in touch with me [you have my id above or visit the beautiful site created by thoppus, www.tis-usa.com] by offering to undertake and pay for the sale of 50-100 or more at a given city, to whom the Cd's will be sent 2 days in advance.
  They will get in touch with a local Indian Grocery store or restaurant and get their permission on the given day to set up a table . preferaby a Saturday or Sunday from 10 am to 7 pm for the said purposes .
  They should advertise well in advance of this event in the local, media either by posters, fliers in strategic places and word of mouth to make it known to the Indian mass mainly.
  They may even take advance orders with payment[which can be a dollar less than the actual price], which is preferable, by setting up a web site,[we can help them with a common website where they can go and pre-order so as to give us an idea as to how much we have to send there]
  This way we can ensure that at least all the hard core fans have a chance to get the original Cd instead of a pirated one.
  I expect, pray and seek everyone's co-operation and suggestions in this matter. What i have said is only my thought process and not the final one. I am willing to hear offers of suggestions to make this event a memorable and successful one.
  Friends, we have put a lot of effort and time in these last 10 months or so and we want this to be a successful, if not a profitable one. I hope you understand our pain and I am not seeking your sympathy but your good wishes to make this historical one to be a memorable one, really.
  I have spoken enough and now I wait for your inputs. We are a family and I invite you all to come to my aid at this crucial juncture to make this happen. Please treat this as your family event.
  Fr. Jegath has undergone tremendous amount of mental and physical strain and is a wounded man now. I will write to you all of the details at a later date. It is my duty to be by his side . The rest is GOD's will!!

  BTW, the release date will be late August or early september. I will be leaving for Hungary[on my own expenses, of course] for the second session of the recordings on the 12th to 14 th and will be with Mr. King in NY for the mixing in late July once the Chennai and Mumbai recordings are finished. I will be posting here regularly as you all have done so much to make this happen which is a real milestone in the annuls of IIR saga. YIA!!

  Let's first clear the RED and move on to EVEN and then will talk about the PROFIT! Not saying that is a myth but prorities come first.
  It's public money and I promise[have been promising all the time!] that it will be made public and used for the public in a musical sense. I guarantee this...at least to the US people.

  I am not sure, what to conclude from your answer. Let's face it. We hardly know each other. People are contributing to this project, not based on your word or promises,because of IR. I accept that you and others are doing a wonderful job on this. But I am afraid you answer does not really cut it out. It is strange that the people who have contributed to this project are not even eligible to get a free CD. What about you?.
  It would be really benefical to all of us, if you stop being vague and give us the complete picture. Otherwise, people who contributed to this project will seriously start questioning the whole intent. It may start looking like a project, where few people managed to use public money to complete the project and walk away with all the profits.

  I don't want to answer to this baseless assumption but it could be misconstrued as a weakness by a few.
  You had asked a genuine question and I have given an honest answer. If that is perceived as 'vague' by you, I cannot help it.
  A donation is a just that... a donation. Expecting a free CD is belittles its value.
  What do you mean by 'complete picture'? I can only answer to the issue I am concerned with... which is trying to raise 100K or so from USA for the project and I have been maintaining that I will give an accurate and honest account of this money, or whatever we aere able to raise.
  The project has several aspects and our contribution[US] is only one part of it. It is not the be all and end all but I have been very careful that each cent of this USA donation is used exclusively for the project alone and not for any extravaganzas.
  In fact, I have spent only my own money for everything I did in connection with this project like travel, postages, website creation, hotel stays etc.
  If you are not sure what to conclude, then I am afraid I can't be of much help.
  I really hoped that from your assumed title that you ARE 'serious this time' but it appears otherwise.
  Please shed your doubts and think of some ways you can be of help.

  Ok, does this rule apply to every one, who contributes to this project including you?. If you are in public forum asking money for a public project, you should be ready to answer anything that comes with that, even if you feel you do not deserve that type of questioning.
  
  Donation is a donation, but to whom?. Still you have not answered my question regarding, who is behind producing the CDs?. If you are able to ship it out for people, who pay for the cds, where that money is going to go?.
  We do not even know, how you manage to get CDS?. Even if this project is sucessful and at the end of day, if there are surplus money, how that is going to play out. I am not shedding any doubts. This is a serious questions. If you can not give a straight answer, either you do not know or do not want to. Either way, it is not comforting.

  You mentioned that by selling the cds in a single day in a massive scale, we can cover the deficits?. Which one's?
  Look buddy, do you think, by considering to answer these questions, you are going to increase the comfort level lot of other people, who like to help this project, but do not want to, because they do not have the complete picture. I hope you will realize that. Consider my questioning also part of helping this project to go along, if you like.
