ARR's 10th Anniversary in TFM - A Decade of Fans

It is a known fact that with Baba, ARR has marked his 10th year in TFM in a Big Way.
The beneficiaries of this prodigy's talents, tat’s us the fans, have decided to call for Celebrations in a Big Way.
Hence, a Constellation of ARR Fans from the newtfmpage Forum got together and took a walk down memory lane, through each year of A Decade of Rahmania.

The fruit of our labour saw the creation of a whole new Website, "10 Years of Universal Conquest", in Dedication to ARR.

  I had not phrased my statement for a correct representation regarding MSV. I know MSV still gave hits in Thillu Mullu, 1981, Andha 7 Natkal, 1981 and Simla Special 1982. That time those who liked MSV used to argue MSV was still having the charm and still would be majority MD of that time when Ninaithale Inikkum released in 1979. What I meant was he quickly faded from being majority movie composer. Later in 1986, he teamed up with IR for Mella Thirandhadhu Kadhavu.

  You had a whole lot who swore by IR in his heydays.
  Sundrarajan, P Vasu, Raj kiran,SP Muthuraman,Kovai Thambi & his kothanars,Sangili Murugan & Associates,Panchu Arunachalam & others.Perhaps you might not know that the famous Devaraj-Mohan of Annakili could not be traced when they wanted to celebrate Annakili s 25th year.

  OISG, Even from your list, if each of the directors want to do a movie with ARR it will take another 10 years before the movie gets made. So in all possibility ARR will not help them any way. (2) What do you want to conclude from the above statement a. these directors are not existing becasue they were with IR b. They are not existing because they are not with ARR.

  Market Value cannot be a hyped up figure.If so it would fall flat after the first failure.Rehman has completed TEN years and not once his MV came down.
  
  Wait for another two years , people will ask where is ARR.
  
  Anyway . this is the productivity figure:
  
  10 years x 60 moview = 600 movie-year.
  
  Compare this with IR: 26 years X 800 movie = 20800
  (oops!)
  52 movies a year,BGM greatness,Sound EngineerVs MD .. i find these arguments by IR fans ,too repetitive.Try some new arguments.
  
  Please try to answer the existing points. Then we will try new points.
  
  Where are the directors Bharathi Raaja and KB who were with ARR, today?

  infact i replied to OISG before speaker's message. somehow it got vanished.
  
  i thought OISG mistook my request only for PP songs. It was just an example. i want links and/or write-up of great songs from atleast a few films of EACH year. I felt it would be nice if those technical write-ups run parallelly with the rahmania write-ups.

  Now these "so called IR fans" are beginning to piss me off. This page is an honest and sincere dedication to ARR and his achievements during the last 10 years. If you have something positive to say, say it. Otherwise, get out of this thread and spew your 2 penny araivEkkaadu analysis in the countless other threads available for such araichchamaavu exchanges.
  
  Treat this page like a function to felicitate a personality. If you think ARR doesn't deserve the function, then don't attend.

  I agree pudhiya mugam was an unpardonable miss.
  
  Its like in cricket when for a skied catch, 2 fielderd shout "leave it!! leave it!!!" at the same time. And they both "leave it" for the other for the ball to sfaely fall in no-man's land.
  
  I guess i shouted "leave it" with me keepers gloves on :-) I wrote 1993 and I left it for the 1992 person :-)

  "Quality" - a word one can use according to their whims and fancies!! I bet Illayaraja rarely slips in quality. Inspite of the fact his own sons are his competitors for him, he is still composing wonderful tunes. List the songs composed by ARR in 1994-1999 as someone has mentioned all the songs are quality songs!! It is not to go at ARR. But i think his fans are overrating him.
  
  Following movies are according to some people are 100% quality songs movies. They were released in 1994-1999.. I have given a link below that list. Just see how many recycling he has done in such a short span of time!! Reality sucks man.

  If you see the link you will find the words
  
  .. "dubbed", "reused" very often. A testimony to his ability to fool the audiences. He is an excellent marketing man who knows how to sell.
  He can sell even low quality songs ilke Muqabala, Mustafa. If only he can compose half as good as Illayaraja by now he would be one of the best composer in the world. I appreciate his marketing abilities.
