Huge Tamil MP3 collection

Hi guys,

I have a good collection of tamil mp3s. You can connect to my FTP server and browse my collection. I recommend using WSFTP-LE.

Host: 68.83.71.35
Username: friend
Password: friend

But if you need to download any of them (ofcourse, for FREE), please email me at musiclover@chennai.net.

My FTP Server will be up mostly weekdays 7:00PM to 10:00PM and starting Friday 7:00PM all thro' weekend.

  Yes, The malayalam group was pretty good with a very large collection of several malayalam movies and a lot og KJJ hits @ audiogalaxy, it is really unfortunate that AG shut down. The moderaters of the group were extremely enthusiastic like our Music lover, and u might still see them there , but since there is no more file sharing, I don't know how active the group is. I got most of my IR malayalam collections from them only, they had promised to get some of the rare ones of IR mal songs, but we were not lucky.

  I have [.ra converted to .mp3] tracks of "Album" but no gurantees in the quality dept.
  
  They were first posted by murugan [tfm dfer] @ http://www.anycities.com/album/Songs.html
  
  And any mp3 version that u may find on the web are of similar quality as they seem to have been lifted from already available real audio files.

  Guys,
  Just wanted to clarify a few things...
  
  1. I am getting a lot of emails requesting for registration in the hub. As of today, I haven't enforced any restrictions. So, you do not have to get registered to browse and download. Go to the hub and you will be able to download.
  
  2. I am got a few emails about connection problems. I am guessing that many of you are trying to connect when the hub is down. To resolve this problem, starting this Saturday (21st Sep) the hub will be up 24hours for one full week. At the end of next week, if there is sufficient interest, I will run the hub 24/7 or will shut it down forever.
  
  3. I am located in East Coast, USA. If you live in India or far away it might take a while for you to connect. But once you are connected ur download speed should become steady. It might still be slow. To resolve this problem, there is a way for me to bounce certain IPs to another machine that is located near you.
  
  For example, If anybody living in West Coast, USA is ready to share the load with me, I can redirect certain IPs to your machine and guys located in west coast will be connected more quickly. This will not improve your download speed because the download speed really depends on whom you are connecting to and what type of connection that person has (Peer to Peer connection).
  
  Sorry for boring u with all the details but I hope this info helps people who tried to connect but couldn't and didn't bother to send me an email.

  I have installed DirCon and even logged into Tamil Hub with my nick. I can see all the users there but am unable to browse Users' files.

  try connecting in passive mode, it worked for me ( in the settings tab, change the connection mode)

  Allright everbody, Good to see so many users. Here are a few things:
  
  For those having problems, I will be in the hub from 7 or 8 PM till about 10 PM. U can shoot your questions then. I try to answer most of the q's and i have fixed some of the problems. so, try to get in touch with me in the hub. If you are not able to browse mine, try anybody else.
  
  If you are able to connect to other hubs except Tamil hub, send me an email with your IP. Dialup users shouldn't really try DC but if you have a dynamic ip send me your location.
  
  I see that many people have benefitted by this hub. If you haven't seen it alreay, I have uploaded the following high quality movies:

  Thanks for sharing Tamil hub among users. I was able to download some wonderful tamil songs. I am looking for Illayaraja's meera and Eera Vizhi Kaaviyangal sound tracks. specially oh! butterfly song. I would really appreciate If anyone could upload those songs.

  People who are able to connect, please give a lending ear. There are some of who us who are always getting a connect failure. Can anyone tell why that should happen. I am using WSFTP-LE. I am in passive mode, I am connecting after 7 [EST-USA] in the evening. But I still get connection timed out.

  Host type : Auto Detect.

  Maverick..please go through all the threads..Musiclover recently mentioned you have to use Direct Connect..
  check old responses.you should fine how to use..
  
  For all new users...Ignore the Ftp message..no more ftp..you have to use Direct Connect..

  OK Guys, one more time :-)
  
  1. Download "Direct Connect" software from www.neo-modus.com.
  2. Install the software and create a username for yourself.
  3. Click on Connect and in the connect box type 68.83.71.235. You will be connected to the hub.
  4. Alternatively, you can click on public, sort by hub names and find "Tamil Hub". Select "Tamil Hub" and click Connect.
  5. Once you are in, you will see a bunch of users on the right side. RIGHT Click on any user and choose "Browse User Files" to see the list of files. You can double click on any file to download.
  6. Alternatively, you can search for a specific song or keywords and once you find it, double click to download.
  7. Now, when you try to browse user's files or double click on a file, you may get NO FREE SLOTS message in the download tab after a few minutes. That means you have to try that user some other time. It will be in your queue and will keep trying.
  8. If you are not able to browse one particular user, try somebody else. Even try some other hub. Make sure you can connect to atleast one user in any hub.
  
  If all of this doesn't work, send me an email (musiclover@chennai.net) with your IP.
  
  If you come into the hub and I am not there, ask anybody who is there and they should be able to help you (particularly try blimbos, sundar, sick31).
  
  THE HUB IS RUNNING 24 HOURS AND WILL RUN 24 HOURS FOR THE NEXT 5 DAYS.
  
  Also, please do not post any song request in this thread. Just hop into the hub and u will find it. Whatever it is, its out there...

  Thanks, Music Lover again. This is really terrific, we should commend Music lover for his enthusiasm, efforts and help. I have the songs from "Nall Naal", some nice songs by IR released in 1984, I will upload them soon, as Music Lover said please post song requests in the hub message board, I think any user who has the particular song should be able to help you.
