  somebody mentioned "kalaiyum neeyae" from then nilavu is set in sunadha vinodhini. confirm.
  
  btw, "sihappu lollakku " is not from 'aasai' it is from "kadhal kottai" MD: deva.

  b) is in chaarukEsi.
  
  c) is in a ragam created by the manodharamam of Ouesuphachchan :-). The strarting lines are in chaarukEsi, but there is a lot of anya swara prayOgams and does not qualify as a chaarukEsi number.

  Another fantastic chaarukEsi numberis from the malayaalam film - sargam. The song is "Krishna Krupaa saagaram" - a great number by KJY and Chitra.

  two songs in 'mohana ragam' in kadal
  kotai movie. what are they?
  have ar rehman has composed any film
  songs in pandhuvarali ragam?
  the first song in 'bombay' sung by chitra
  (a solo number), is in keeravani?

  MS, "Thennai mara thoppu" resembles "Marugo marugo" from sathileelavathi closely. i think it should be Kaanada.

  set in Sankarabharnam. whereas,the song in Sathi
  Leelavathy is set in Kaanada
  Thennai marathoppukkulle.. is set in Kaanada. you
  can take this for granted that Deva had lifted
  the swaras from Mullai malarmele..'from Uthamaputhiran- G Ramanathan MD is a classical
  song in Kaanada.
  the song Usilampatti from Gentleman and Andha arabi kadaloram from bombay are set in same raga

  also, in 'Enai kaanavilaye', i see N1 in charanam,
  
  - "Nee ennai neengi chendrale"

  The song "poopparikkira vELaiyilE" has the pallavi set in chaarukEshi. A beautiful rendition by SPB. Another song which comes into my mind is "nallthOr veeNai" from "marupadiyum"
