Mythila,
"KooththailE koyl pura" is not in Bhagesri, it is infact is "Karnataka kamas", which is very close to bahudari.
IR has given some Bhageshri gems.
Kaaviyam Paadava - Idhayathai Thirudaathe, Eduthu Naan Vidava En Paatai - Pudhu Pudhu Arthangal, Mazhai Varudhu Mazhai Varudhu - Raaja Kaiyya Vachcha, Roja Ondru Mutham Keatkumm - Komberi Mookan
Are a few which come to my mind immedietly.

I would pick "NilavE ennidam nerungAthE" as best Bhageshri ever. SPB's version of the song is in dhooL. While PBS's version is packed with effortless sangathis, SPB's version has tremendoes bhavam.

Aditya,
Great work. Ideas are presented without confusion. It seems to follow the format of a song than an instrumental. I think it will sound very good as a song.
Udhaya!
Would you like to write some wonderful lyrics to this?

Sridhar,
Did I get the whole song or is it only 48 seconds?
Regardless, I can write for our fancy but does Aditya intend it to be a vocalised song, much less in Thamizh.
As for me writing for it:
thangamae Thamizhukkillai thattuppaadu
sarakkirukkuthu murukkirukkuthu mettup poadu
- From: Aditya (@ 160.231.10.162)
on: Wed Jun 4 14:08:56 EDT 2003
Udhaya and Sridhar:
:-)) It's not 48 seconds clip - it's about 4min...
Thanks for your comments...Depending on the format as the lyricist perceives, there may be some parts of melody for which lyrics can be written, please help me to visualize them with meaningful lyrics...Language doesn't matter so long you can make up a DejaVu meaning...
Thanks again for your comments...

Aditya

Aditya,
That was cool, man. Nice improvisation of a typical 'country western' progression. I was reminded of 'For a few dollars more' when your piece began. Overall, it was like Clint Eastwood coming all alone on a horse in the dry desert lands of the West to the typical city of the Cowboy land where he finds his enemies in a dirty barhouse with whom he raises hell in his merry manner and goes out of the town in his usual cool manner all alone in his horse ! Your piece would suit perfect to such a scene !

Aditya,
I'm not able to download the whole song for some reason. Could be my prehistoric dialup connection, anyway, can you put it up on Yahoo briefcase or somewhere else more stable?

I uploaded it my folder http://briefcase.yahoo.com/Vijayaditya/Samples

Nice piece of work. It sounded like Abheri on a first listen. The piece has a nice upbeat mood to it. I felt like I was wandering alone in a forest having lost my way and trying to be optimistic of getting back home. As the suggestion was put forth, this will be beautiful as a vocalized song.

Thanks for your suggestions and comments...It's Abheri/Bhimplas...
I am curious to see how a Lyricist interprets this song...

Hello Udhaya:
I could go only this far in understanding the lyrics...
Evening time dear love
come to me to be together
let's jive for the Music
And become one in soul
Let me know if I understood it correct:-))
After translating on the rest of the song...
I realized that I am too explicit and was scared that it's meaning some war, rain, sky, cloud...then countries, separation, friendship etc.
I am sure you guys are able to appreciate the subtle poetic dimension. Can somebody extract the subtle poetic dimension for me?
Regards,
Aditya

Aditya,
You're not far off, yes I do get into war, rain, sky, cloud, countries, separation and friendship.
The theme is a guy or a girl wanting to dance with a partner while reminiscing over the calm after the storm (of war) and predicting a more idealistic future.
If you want word by word translation, well, I hope someone else can oblige. If no one does, then I will in a few days. Thanks.

Hi guys,
A clarification please.
I am not happy with the quality of sound when I sequence in a PC, or when I upload a MIDI file to a PC that I sequenced in my keyboard. Is it possible to get the exact sounds that I get from the keyboard in a PC too ? Are there sounds cards that are of such quality to reproduce it like that ? Or is the other alternative of using external sound devices the best one ? If so, is that an expensive option ?
Please clarify.

Da Vinci,
Why do u need another expensive sound module when u already have a keyboard? You can record the audio from the keyboard into the PC...
If u prefer to play MIDI from a PC, then you can think of a virtual/software synth. Check out www.native-instruments.com.
