  Guys Iman isn't the youngest MD, actually it was Yuvanshankar Raja who did his first film at 15 and really hit the big time at 17 with his smash hit Poovellam Kettupar. YSR rules!!!!

  In fact, Chinmayee had sung the title song for the serial "Snehidhi" which got recently completed in Sun TV. The song starts with "Snehidhi snehidhi.. anbuLLa snehidhi". The pitch goes up like anything.. she is really a promising singer in deed...

  Since there seems to be some demand to know about Madhu Balakrishnan, I thought I'd post this.
  His imm family lives in Koratty, near Trichur in Kerala. He spent a lot of time in Kothamangalam, as a boy, where yours truly grew up and got to know him. Well trained in classical music (if memory serves me right, Sankaran nambudiri and MB share a guru) he used to be much sought after in local musical get togethers. I haven't been in touch with him for a long time, but I found his cell number on the internet. A search for contact info on malayalam/tamil singers yields that number. And by the way, he isn't a PGT Iyer, but a Parur menon!!!!

  Indeed a prized catch to Tamil Music Industry. When i saw the performance of "Chinmayi" in "Sapthswarangal" - SUN TV i was taken back. Truly a wonderful control of voice and the way she renedered her performance in the show has really paid rich tributes.
  
  She continued her good show in "Kannathil Muthamittal" by rendering "Oru Deivam Thantha Poove".. Hope she continues to get some luvly numbers to render from our Music Directors..

  maverick : Reena Bharathwaj, is a budding singer form London. She lives in Osterley, an exclusive neighbourhood near Heathrow and is a Post Graduate student at London University. Indeed a talented singer, Reena was spotted by AR Rahman in London and has used her for a track song, in Legend of Bagat Singh and for the actual number, Baba Kichu Kichu in Baba.

  maverick: Incidently, the song Baba Kicchu Kicchu Thaa was originally penned Baba oru Muttham Tha by Vairamutthu, and AR Rahman changed them slightly! The original song, which was sent over to Switzerland for the shooting was recorded in London, by a singer called Vasu Chakkera and Reena. Vasu's voice was used in the track but then replace by SPB!

  As far as i know Baba kichu kichu were done straight away by SPB and Reena!!and not through any track singers...I think you are misinformed. This kind of wrong information will cause people to be beleiving wrong things !!

  Kadal Thendral - This is well know information, about the Baba track singers - the girl, Reena is a resident of Osterley, Middlesex, very near Heathrow airport, in England! The chap, Vasu is also a London resident, working for BBC. He was picked by AR Rahman, as they couldn't get Karthik down and the song was to be picturised in Switzerland. I know Vasu personally and it was a close friend who introduced him to AR Rahman. Rememberm this all happened during the Bombay Dreams creation time!
  
  Who told you that it was done straight away by SPB? Did U check personally? And to top this, Reena loves in the UK, do you really think she had time to fly to Chennai to record the song, with SPB!!!!
